He has them powered off the deck and they are just absolutely a awesome investment. I believe the only differnce in his set and the ones you listed is his are 6.5s while yours are 6x9s Hope that helped a little LOL! I emailed everyone who had bought them and most were in my boat and hadnt installed them. The ones who had said they sounded fantastic. I just don't know their audio pedigree to know if their review was worth or not. One guy did sound like he knew what he was talking about. from the pictures of the hsks Ive found online these are modeled after a older run. I think what they may be is a batch that did not pass QC because of dumb things. Box had all paperwork and everything in it. once my car gets out the shop I'll be working on getting them in and feeding them some juice. from what i heard N8 the hertz on ebay are new old stock......im not sure if thats true but thats what i have heard from some people and also i read someone saying that on SMD today. i am thinking about ordering a set but im kinda on the fence I SCAM PEOPLE OUT OF MONEY... Skullz Posted November 28, 2010 Author Report Share Posted November 28, 2010 I got 2 sets as well as n8ball did and we talked about the build quality of the hertz and yes they are new old stock speakers, i have had them installed now for 2 weeks and love them and kinda bummed i can't afford another 2 sets of them. My reasoning behind the 6x9's was bass output compared to how much the 6.5's would have and have learned something new about them, i was used to lower quality 6.5's with little to no bass from them and was extremely hesitant to buy some until i got these hertz and can say they a ton of bass from them and glad i got them even though i have no warranty.
