A buddy of mine just bought a package with the sub/amp/box for like $200..I told him I would install it for free and then I realized I don't know how to put in the remote turn-on wire to the ignition..Could somebody breifly explain how to do that to me..

Thanks a bunch!

Edit: He has an aftermarket HU so I think it just goes to the amp..correct me if I'm wrong.

does he have an automatic radio antena that comes out when the car comes on? if not there should be one wire that is a orange color or blue depending on how new the hu is..hook it up to that and turn it on to make sure it works :)

buy a wiring harness.

it plugs in to the factory harness.it is also color coded and tells you what wires go where.

you have to tell them what car its for though.

Blue wire w/ white stripe, or solid blue.

Either way.

as Jason said...........get a wiring harness for that car.........Nothing annoys me more ,than getting a car in the garage.....and all the wires are chopped up.........

When it would have been alot less work,to just get a harness..........................Plug and play...
