Not lifted too much but it was still a nice truck.

Was my friends, he sold it after the trans went out.

Yeah I had to trim the inside fender plastic a good bit. I kept a box cutter in my truck and when it rubbed I would slice off the shiny spot. LOL

Your Avalanche would be harder because the front bumper cover is prolly going to need trimming. I wouldn't do that personally, but You could lift it up with keys/spacers and put some 33's on it pretty easily tho and that would look badass too. If you really wanted 35's you would be looking at keys, spacers, and a body lift - or just go all out with a 6" suspension lift right out of the gate.

I will be adding a 2-3" body lift this spring when it's warm enough to actually go outside and work. lol

Some new pics I took having fun in the snow.

yeah i mean i want it for when i wana have fun which is why ima chip it and turn the chip on and off, but i also want to stack what ever i get lol

I don't understand when you said cummins are easier to put chips in?

Almost all diesels are simple to add chips/tuners.

Mine took maybe 30 minutes. Very simple.

Also, the blacksmoke deal. I know its wasted fuel, before I got a diesel I hated black smoke, swore I'd never buy a tuner that produced it.

Now I have it, and LOVE my black smoke. Every diesel I've seen make tonz of power pour black smoke, there has to be a reason to add the extra wasted fuel. I haven't researched it much but if it was a 100% waste, why does almost all the tractor pullers and high HP/TQ diesels produce it.

I love the Cummins motor, I'd love one in my F-250. But I'm not spending 10 grand to make it happen. One draw back, they are just sooooo loud idling.

They make smoke because they are going for max power.

Making smoke on a street tune is pointless and obnoxious and makes everyone else who drives a diesel look bad.

My old truck: 1996 Chevy 2500 with 5.7 (350) on 35's, no lift.. just some trimming on the front and torsion bars cranked. 395,000 km on it when I sold it.

My current truck: 1990 Dodge w250 with 5.9 Cummins 12v (6BT) on 33's. 2" body lift. Want to put 37's or 39's under it. They should fit with just some fender trimming on the front.

And... the backup truck, lol. Selling it but nobody wants it yet I guess. 1986 Toyota SR-5 with 22R Turbo Edition. Rare motor :) Too bad its got a slushbox. No lift, on 31's :(

Any time you have have a power wire next to your frame put some rubber hosing (or cut up an innertube) around it. The wire is bound to wiggle (due to driving or flex) and the casing will eventually wear through.
