Yeah.. LOL! It started last night while IH8PunkRock was uploading a build log from my house... but I noticed that when I get on the site on more than one PC at the same time, even today that it locks the mac address... I am guessing something that his server supplier set to block bots or something???? So I had to change the mac a couple times....

Something else that works a little easier...

1.Click to open your start menu.

2. Use Run or do a search for CMD

3. type in ipconfig /release .. let it do its mumbo jumbo (takes about 5 seconds)

4. when able to enter another command, type in ipnconfig /renew .. again let it do its mumbo jumbo

5. Now exit out and try opening a fresh website.

This automatically assigns a new IP to your machine.

If your having issues with multiple devices interfering with one another, do a google search for setting IP address manually. Usually will solve all problems.

I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England.

Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.

ya, tires and paint burning make the marshmallows taste funny.

that assigns a new ip to your machine what you have to do is assign a new ip to your router/modem. Since you are behind the router all traffic that goes out is sent out with the modems address. a simple release renew does not work for this.

I think Rick is on the right path. Pretty much the same conclusion I came to

on a Netgear router all you have to do is log in to the router. Default User name is "Admin" default password is "password"

Just click on Router status

Then click on connection Status

There will be a button to click that lets you release and renew your router IP right there.

Sigh.

But its going to assign you the exact same ip back. and you'll still have the issue. 99.9 percent of the time thats what will happen.
