cubs_fan0718
you don't have the experience to do a wall yet, so i wouldn't. Just because he doesnt have experience with a wall doesnt mean he shouldnt try it, thats how you gain experience. The first time you have sex do you have any experience? NO, Doesnt mean u shouldnt try it. LT.Smoke
well he asked what he needs to do. Obviously the first step is to see what you have to work with, sq footage wise. If you don't know that, then you obviously don't have the experience to build one. I see this as a dream wall too. I don't see it happening. Just my .02 1 more asshole comment from you to this kid and im going to give you a much needed vacation for a few days.. keepinitloud
yeah the back seats have to go and you will not be able to see out the back so your goin to have to rely on your mirrors but walled sedans are cool good luck with this if you decide to go forward with it Quote 06 chrysler 300C Hemi one mmatts dreadnaut 15 powered by a planet audio vx 2200d fosgate p200 running planet audio 8" midbass drivers and super compression tweeters stock battery and a stinger spv44 Irragi 300 amp alternator big 3 1/0 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/55075-system-in-my-300c/page__view__findpost__p__763656__fromsearch__1
CaptainzPlanetz
so my dad gave me his old 98 centry buick. what is required to make a wall for 2 18's? pros and cons: do i takeout the back seats? Yes, you would take out the back seats, and most would use 2x4's to build a frame for the MDF to attach to(I.E. the 2x4's are attached to the body/sheet metal) is there in enough room cubic ft wise? If you are doing a full wall at the B-Pillar you should have 0 problems with Cu. ft. issues do i need to use the trunk space for the enclosure also? No you wouldnt, for 2 18's, use it for batteries and amps.... and is there anyone in houston that wants to help build it with me LOL Im sure someone on here in that area, should have exp. with walls, its definatly not the easiest of tasks, but it will help alot for you to do your first wall while being helped/taught by one of the experienced wall builders Edit: Also depending on the Subs you use/amps you use you will likely need electrical upgrades for the amps, and suspension upgrades to handle the weight of the wall, subs, and extra batteries needed to feed the amps(still dependent on subs you choose) I think I got everything, also expect hairtricks once the wall happens. fecupe2001
Shouldn´t be too dificult, that car is very confortable on the back seat area, that means when you take the seats out, you´ll have tons of space for a wall, 2 18´s or 4 15´s should fit in there without any problems, you have the space, but, do you have the subs?electrical? amps and everything or you just starting to plan this for the future?
