you shouldnt really need it for that..

do the big three upgrade and get some good wire unless you have it already..

also upgrade your grounds.

sierra as in truck? if so ground your up front battery to the frame and then ground your amp to the frame as well your gonna have to drill a hole though..

First of all, burn the capacitor...they suck ass. Then follow these instructions on the video.

Next, if you dont have money for a kinetic or xs, go with an optima yellow top.

doesnt the redtop have a higher discharge rate? if so that is better suited since he isnt draining it to make use of the deep cycle

I say xs over kinetic. But you can go with stinger, batcap, etc. but I have just seen too many kinetics go bad to recommend them

Really now? If kinetik's go bad so often, why do competitors use them? One example, Gary killian.

big three> battery>cap.. that amp doesnt draw enough to require another battery he would just be adding onto his problem.

The blue tops are for deep cycle. The yellow tops are made for audio, video, lighting, etc. The red tops are just for normal starting. But I have redtops under the hood, and on the system. I used blue tops on my boat. I guess no real diff b/w the red and yellow unless you have insane power, but then you wouldn't use optima anyways...i just suggest optima b/c they are only $150 - $200 bucks, and you can easily find them in your local parts store if something goes wrong at the wrong time, unlike your batcap, xs, kinetic, etc.
