Om guys this is going into a Mazada(zoom zoom) Protege.

Equipment is an 18" BTL and AQ 3500.1 3 AGM batterys. Ok Im just trying to figure out what everyone else thinks would be the best way to set this up..

The box is 20"H which is why im leaning to port up or port to the side. I would love to have the wow factor of doing sub back for the guy so when he opens the hatch ppl are like WTF!! lol

Personal experience would be AWESOME!

I like your 15 minute "bump" lol

I'm assuming this will be a daily ground pounder? For hatch backs (except Hondas), I see sub and port up commonly.

If the sub is firing back, expect crazy hatch rattle (unless you have lots of space).

Depending on the hatch type, I would go with either sub up port up, sub back port back, or sub up port back.

My Saab 9000 sounds best sub up, port up.

My friend's Mazda MX-3 sounded best subs back, port back.

My friend's Chevy Cavalier wagon sounded best sub up, port back.

My buddy has one of those. He did sub up port up cause of room issues. He had 2 15 Mayhems. We never got to meter it so I can't say what it did. I'm pretty sure it was close to a 150 though.

damn that must of been a small port when i saw the car i only had 36 wide.. does he have the dimensions of his box?
