6berry Posted July 23, 2011 Report Share Posted July 23, 2011 i have a question about the front rca outputs. i was going to do this on my headunit but wouldnt it be bad for my subs without having a low pass crossover? my amp doesnt have one and my active crossover died the other day 1999 Audi A4 1.8T::: 4 - DC Level 3 10's in a 4th order Rockford P6002 on Subs for now (3-3.5k coming eventually) MB Quart ONX4.60 for Mids and Highs Boston S50 Components in Front Boston S65 Coaxials in Rear 40 Sq Ft of Second Skin Damplifier Build Thread UBL 1948 Plymouth Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If your just going to burp for competition you should be able to turn infrasonic Filter off and gain on the meter. Well, since i´m only burping on this tests, i always turn the subsonic filter all the way down, i don´t think it would hurt my score if i turn it around 35 hz since i´m burping around 42 hz , but you never know right? no problem, i can try this for you in a couple of hours, there will be no pictures because of lazyness hahhaa, my camera it´s at the suzuki swift, but i will post you an update for sure , any other thing you want me to try? fecupe2001 Posted July 24, 2011 Author Report Share Posted July 24, 2011 Hotdog, just did the test, i´m burping at 42 hz with this 2 12´s box, i tried the subsonic filter all the way down and then around 35 hz and scored the same number, set it a little bit higher than 35 hz just for fun (maybe close to 40 hz) and dropped 0.4 dbs I´m the SPL Gains topic creator!! wanna get louder?? check this: SPL Gains.
