Broke_Audio_Addict Posted October 31, 2015 Report Share Posted October 31, 2015 So I decided I'm going to give building an ar a shot since I want one and I figure building one will teach me everything I need to know in order care for it properly and fix any issues should they arise. Now I've never done anything like this before so what should I be concerned about and are there any special tools I need to buy? Not set on caliber but I'm thinking sticking with .223/5.56 is probably the best bet for my first build. Also if anyone wants to recommend a parts list for the build I'm all ears, not looking to do a crazy expensive build for my first time so I'm setting the budget at $1500. Or two or three You have to name your goal before you do anything.
