I'm going to be building this box on the weekend and want to know which port I should go with.

Box Info:

  • Roughly 2*ft after displacment

Driver Info:

  • 12" DC XL

Port Info:

  • Slot
  • Opening 23.5 square inches
  • Tuned to 33Hrz

I'd go #2. With #1 you have the interior port opening firing right at the sub, and the sub at it...and they're pretty close.

i like option 2, except, howre you planning on bracing the bottom half of the baffle?
