BassMechanic253
Im working on this 1995 silverado and it has 2 roof skins the outer and 1 that is 1.5 inches below. i need to brace them or bond them somehow, at first thought i was thinking expanding foam but i dont think it will be strong enough. would concrete be safe to just fill the gap with? any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Miguels
expanding foam would have worked.. are you building a bomb shelter? my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Broke_Audio_Addict
Pics or it didn't happen. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. Miguels
like i said expanding foam would have been more than needed. what you need is keeping 2 sheet metals from vibrating against each other.. expanding foam would have done a good job reinforcing the roof on that truck.. oh and good bye to gas mileage my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
jk13
Roof is cut, concrete is poured. roof is now solid as all hell. Building 1.5" birch roof on the interior and having that glassed in then bed lined Way to take it above and beyond. Would also like to see pics if possible. If you went that far on the roof, what are you doing for the back wall? Static drops are my bag.
