Little bit of testing in Derrick's Explorer -- using my Extech power clamp meter (which always reads low vs. separate meters method) : 26 Hz 46.6v 43.7A 2036 Watts 1.06 ohm 27Hz 48.2v 40.4a 1974 watts 1.19 ohms The super low frequency is a bit different than normal testing as well -- I'll get it in one of my other setups and do testing in the more typical range (more similar to my "official" amp clamp thread) when I get a moment but Derrick was up so we threw it in his Explorer! We kept it down below any point of audible distortion for testing. Time does not permit details testing and dialing in today... just a quick test and we are very pleased thusfar. Watching my power clamp we saw 1500-1600 watt continuously on music as well. So far I haven't had to fan turn on in any of my testing nor has the case been even lukewarm to the touch. Also some 16v testing will be done as time permits. guys i just got a call asking why Denim was banned. He was not banned for defending SSA products. He was banned because i just noticed he was here when in fact he has no business being here. i accidently seen some shit he was talking about me on another forum, like MAJOR DICKHEAD shit......like maybe he thought i would never see it or something, but one day i did. I can't believe it, i thought we were cool. Well i guess we are not. It just goes to show you never know who your friends are and NEVER trust anyone from the net. People wonder why i am hesitant to make new friends. on the other hand, Mark is still a VERY good friend of mine and i still support SSA to the fullest......so take that for what its worth. I am closing this thread because i will not tolerate anyone dissing on SSA audio in any way on my site. Thanks for your understanding.

Papaslim..... Nice edit on your post... However the specs on the SSA site are WRONG. I have installed this amp in a buddies jeep with a pair of Sundown SA-12s, box tuned to 27hz, and that amp had no problem playing well below the boxes tuning like a champ with authority. It would be STUPID for any company to make a monoblock amp for subwoofers, and than not have it play over half the frequencies that the sub stage of an audio system to play. I cant believe a person would be so blatant to think that, and continuously argue the specs that are listed on SSA are correct against people that have hands on experience with these amplifiers even after the owner of the company posted them in this thread, where as SSA is just a retailer of the product and many other products and made a typo. Now if you want to continue your Disbelief of the specs listed in this thread posted by the owner of the company and continuously argue about it, you will be having a short vacation from the forums... yes!!!! can't wait for a dd1 I can actually use haha. oh damn, i wasn't sure what type of reception it would get but there should be a few that will love it. I will tell you what, the HV will be like $15.00 more but i will waive that fee if you buy one and make you the first to own one....just post a few pics and give an HONEST review. I hope the faceplate is done by the end of May. Even with a supplied faceplate, you still have to get your install skills on though.
