Its about time!! I was so tired of walking on eggshells even using music that i OWN or had explicit permission to use! http://news.yahoo.com/youtube-introduces-appeals-court-copyright-fights-185030967.html I know some of you have had video's taken down that didn't even have any copyright shit in it. One of the WORST things about being a youtube "partner" is that once they give (or gave) you a strike, you really had no way to argue it. Now at least you have another chance to appeal your case! I don't approve of uploading peoples ACTUAL songs but for what WE do with our systems, its kinda BS we get lumped into the copyright thing anyway, since we are helping drive their sales by showing everyone how hard their shit hits, or how good it sounds on our new mids/highs LOL.

if someone is making money by using copyrighted material that they dont have permission to use, and they finally get caught up to, then i dont understand how possibly defeating that is progress. for people NOT gaining from it financially, then there should be no limitation. but partners should not be able to use copyrighted material without permission, and if they do and they get caught there should be no chance to defeat the accusation, and my opinion is they should be removed from youtube. sure, if the artist feels that way. But if one of my favorite artists tells me to my face that they love my video's and want me to keep making them, it shouldn't be up to youtube to take the liberty to take it down.

What ever happened to the LVL 4 numbers???
