  1. Jeep Grand Cherokee. 99-04 4.0 inline six 4x4. Mine gets 17-20 MPG unless I beat on it and I pay 80 for full coverage every month. I had a box in there the fit 6 15's sealed under the window line in only the cargo area. Still had backs seats.
  2. Ahahhahah Kinda Funny but alot to read still reading.
  3. It's a loud horrible noise you don't wanna hear. Kind of like smacking metal against metal depending on how hard its bottoming out will determine how loud it is.
  4. What I didn't know this I better called rusty I put his stickers on my jeep.
  5. OOOOO I was never a fan of ricers until they started hanging out up at my old work. I started poking my head under the hood and was pretty impressed with a lot of them.
  6. What do these bad boys normally go for? My buddy's got a system he throwing together one of these wouldbe hell anice amp.
  7. I would put to much power on them while free airing them but the noise you heard while you were free airing them was it the same noise you had before? You box might be just leaking air and not coming apart and perhaps your bottoming them out in the box as well. Do any of you friends have a box you could try out? I'd feel around the box while the subs are kind of bumping a little bit but before that noise starts. try and see if you can feel air leaking out.
  8. Ahh... Are you 100% its the sub? Will they make the noise if you power them up like in your house or with the trunk open.
  9. The box could be coming apart somewhere? Happened in my buddy's impala a week or so ago. We took it out and pushed around on the box until we found the part that had came lose a few screws and some glue and shes holding up and no noise.
  10. Well if your voltage isn't dropping and your amps set right... IDK I've heard some subs when there new the resin heats up faster and when you smell that smell to turn it down, and I guess over time its supposed to go away but lets hear some other opinions.
  11. Now lets say you build a box with no 90 degree angle inside the box have every side or corner tapered a little. I seen a box like this and ask why? Then they said it was acoustically designed to do something with the sound waves(Like make it louder or something IDK). Has anyone seen something like this or know if this would work to make it potentially louder?
  12. If you want a direct connection you could drill a lil hole in the box to poke the wires out and caulk the hole after you pull the wires out, kinda ghetto but it works.
  13. To go from the positive to the negative? It doesn't matter.
  14. For some reason I like the way you described that better than the way I did. It just seems simpler for some reason even know they are the same thing.
  15. Well since you used a positive from on coil and a negative from the other coil you should have an open positive on one side and negative on the other just run a piece of speaker wire to them connecting the two.
  16. Man people are just so smart these days. I don't know how you even get that idea or even after getting it thinking it would work or be a good idea.
  17. WOW that is all I can say. well and that and that and that and that and that and that shit few crap and that.
