We did 142.7dB on Termlab, on the dash, St A dB Drag legal with two $50 10" subs off a speaker amp that was bench tested at 190w x 2 on 14v. These woofers were fucked, no dust caps and holes in the cones and a slap together install. Getting a high number like that ain't rocket science but making something that pounds is hard. We put a DD Z1 on them and the two $50 subs did 144.8dB but found their limits quickly, too much power....

The Soundstream XXX is one hell of a woofer. It has family ties with TC sounds which is why it's so good!

If it's the black cone with orange around the logo they aren't half bad woofers. I used one at my last comp for fun 137dB on Termlab with 25wrms, not bad for one 10" sub.

I wouldn't go far enough to call it a 'true' ground pounder, don't take it the wrong way because it's certainly not supposed to be an insult. Obviously not on the massive scale as some systems around. I think the term 'Street Beater' would be a good description, and there's nothing wrong with that. I had four 12s a little while back and it would blow most people away and shake everything!

When I have a system in my car, all the time. Most of the time its in dis-belief because they don't think it would come from such an ugly old car. The funniest bit is when they're looking around to see where the noise is coming from and look right past me. Did that to some cops once. Funny shit
