i get board and read some of what ppl say and i dont wanna be a n ass hole but i get tired of ppl that r o look i have 6 15in memphis mojos and a dc 5000w amp and r like o i can out take you and here i am with 1 or 2 of these im srry however many speakers you have and or watts DONT MEAN SHIT unless you now what the fuck ur doin most of the time its how the box is built and yea watts and other shit has a lil bit to do with it im not gnna lie ive seen ppl with a single 10 on 500 watts out...

so im inneed of help to figure out my box for my sub i want to do a 6th order pb for a single 18 obsidian i no that there is trial and error for these boxes and really no specs i was thinkin 4 cubes tuned to 31hz for chamber 1 then 2.5 cubes tuned to 45hz for chamber 2 i would like some help please cus i heard OA sound better in these type of boxes and im gonna use areo ports

if you want a bandpass, build a 4th for that sub, they wont be 6th order friendly but should be beasts in a 4th

early in the mornin gonna go to radio shack to get some coax cable and the ends to make my own RCA jacks

if my box is built right for my 18, a 1000 watts should be fine on this sub the sub is 600 rms

really... as long as the power is good and clean.. no clipping.. depending on if you play below tuning and such.. should probably take the power fine imo.. just make sure it's tuned with ither a dd1, or an o-scope..

the box i was goin to build for it is going to be 5.6 cubes @ 31HZ but i wanna do 34 or 35HZ so its a mixture od SQ and SPL iv heard of a single Obsidian 18 doing 150DB true or not i don't no, but i was actually thinkin about doin a 6th order PB box for it but i don't no if there would be enough room in my cavalier lol and i have a dd1

I no that their is 2 chambers and one is bigger then the other the smaller chamber you wanna tune high and the small low I do no that there is no exact specs for a 6th order its all trial and error

Sounds like your off to a great start then, but you may want to do some more research if your planning on doing it, or maybe find better words to phrase things, otherwise you may run into an issue if you tune the smaller chamber high and the small low.
On a serious not tho, the OA series subs perform great in bandpass enclosures. I just recommend designing and making the enclosure a way that it is easy to make port size changes. Things may look 100% on paper, but once the vehicl...
