  1. I had to do those same things because I'm on the Volunteer Fire Department here in my town. I was an athlete in high school and I run track in college so it wasn't too bad getting in shape. I actually grabbed an old fallen tree that I drug out of the woods behind my house and I pulled that around the yard. Try streghtening your lower back and abs. Work on your grip, and get in good running shape. I ran 3 miles, sometimes 5, alot, and atleast once every saturday morning. Hit the weight room too if you can. I ran stadiums with a sand bag (just the stuff from home depot for kid's sand boxes and stuff). It was the University stadium, and I think there were 88 steps.... It's an all around workout that pretty much helps with everything. I modified and did what I learned from collegiate track practice, the "stadium workout:" 1) I ran up the stairs hitting each step while holding the sand bag, with a brisk walk back down, and then took about a 15 second rest, 2) Next I did same thing, run up the stadiums steps holding the sad bag, but skip every step. Again, a brisk walk back down, and another short rest. 3) I put the bag down, and ran up the steps (without the bag) making sure to hit EVERY step with BOTH feet. (essentially doing 2x as many steps as before. This is NOT the same thing as step 1) 4) Pick up the bag again, turn to the right, and go op the stairs sideways. Make sure your feet don't cross when you are going up. It should be a "galloping" or "hop/skip" motion going up. Walk briskly back down, and take a couple second rest. 5) See step 4 but turn to the left. 6) When you get back down, do not take a break. Run one lap around the track (400 meters), without the sand bag. It does not need to be all out, but if you want to get better, you can push yourself. Do not use this as a break. 7) Do 30 push-ups, and 30 sit-ups. Take a nice easy walk back to the stadium. This step is used as your break. These 7 steps are what we call one "circuit." Three circuits make up the "stadium workout. -You can adjust the breaks as you see fit, although you should decrease your break the more you do it. You can also adjust the number of sit-ups and push-ups as you see fit, and add other exercizes as you wish. You can adjust the amount of stairs you climb as well, start out with half, then increase as you get stronger and more in shape. Expirament with holding the bag in different ways, just make sure you do it just as you would carry the hose. I'm sure there's more but that's all I can remember off of the top of my head. I hope this helps and Good luck! EDIT: Ah, yes, a lot of sprinting, but when you are running up and down those stairs, running from place to place in all that gear, it gets to you. Sure the stadium workout works the cardio. I agree with that. But I believe that all that extra running I was doing, really helped me out. It helps by getting you in shape without the strain on your body, reducing the risk of injury. I know you need a break every now and then, and the running was my break. It felt easy after the pulling and the stadium workout, but I was still getting in shape and doing work while my body is like, "Oh, this feels good, this is easy..." I don't know if that made any sence at all but that's how I felt about it. But it's your body, if you don't think you need it then thats your decision.
  2. Heck yeah, FINALLY a show within reasinable driving distance! I'm tired of hearing about all these shows in FL or CA lol
  3. I'm not good on pricing jewlry, but I do know that diamonds never lose their value like money can. But its not just diamonds so... I would assume like other people have said, about 80% of that max? But the only way to know is to find out.
  4. Can you pm me a price on 2 12"s as well as the specs?
  5. Yeah they have the rockford p1000.1bd, Mine is rated at 1268w RMS at 1 ohm. Its like 600$...
  6. My truck tires say 2406, so made in 2006, so they are still good. I couldn't see the ones on my mom's minivan, the numbers are on the inside, and all 4 tires on it were replaced 2 weeks ago... And I can't tell how old the tires are on my Nova are, the numbers are on the inside and I don't feel like crawling on the garage floor to look. I just took a shower haha That's good to know, I'll look out for that in the future.
  7. And she didn't get home till 4:30 am and tried to act like nothing happened. FUCK THAT x10
  8. I gave my girl money to go get a new bikini, and before I got home to go with her ( I wanted to see, duh! ), I found out she left without me but instead went to hang out with her friends on MY money. That was at noon, its almost 8pm and she isnt back yet, and she isnt answering my texts either. FUCK THAT.
  9. Yeah thats it. I lost mine for about a week, just couldn't find it anywhere, so I resorted to using those multi-colored fuzzy "pipe-cleaners" that you use for crafts and stuff... It worked, but they were only about 15" long... cost me 49 cents for 25.
  10. Michael Jackson? Janet Jackson? They all look the same.....
  11. I cought the biggest fish of my life on a tiny Zebco with 8lb test. After fighting it in for 30 minutes, I got it close enough for my dad to net it, and as he went to get it, and my line snapped To this day, that was the biggest live fish I've ever seen. Oh, and for the record, I prefer bass over bass. (the sound vs the fish)
  12. Living close to Lake Erie, my father and I fish a lot. Mostly pearch, bluegill, crappie, walleye.... bass... and the sheephead that I never intend to catch... As a matter of fact, we are leaving Friday, flying waaayyy up into Canada on one of those small 4 person planes that can land on water... (I can only take 40 lbs of gear...) and we will fish for a week and be back next Friday. But I can't wait, it seems like it is going to be a lot of fun! We're going to catch whatever we can, hopefully we'll get some of those monster pike too. Just throw the lure and reel it in, and recast... Sometimes I get lazy and just throw a bobber out there with a minnow on the hook. This is the biggest fishing I've ever done though....
  13. Yeah, Pics? How do they look? Scratches, chips etc. And how many watts were these seeing? I live near Cleveland, I could pick them up if they are as nice as I am hoping...
  14. Well since I just paid off my car not too long ago, I decided to get a motorcycle. I got an 08 Honda CBR 600 RR, 4.8 gallons, with a 0.9 gallon reserve, and at close to 50 mpg, it beats my 77 Nova. But since I live in Ohio, I'll still have to use the Nova in the rain, and I wont even drive that in the winter, but its ok, I'm at college then and don't drive when I'm there anyways...
  15. $4.04 Mansfield Ohio, It was $4.14 the other day (Un-leaded)
