We would need the max dimensions of the trunk space in order to help you with a Box For the DC Audio woofers. I dont think theres going to be enough space for a 18 in a golf though . I could be wrong, we will see once you post up your dims

You can go up to 1.75, I wouldent take it any larger than that, to large of a box and the woofers mechanical power handling can suffer and since you got lots of power for the sub no need to stress the neck on it

I would roll with a piar of level 2 or level 3s, the 3s give you room to upgrade later if you want

yes you would use d1s if you need to get to 4 ohms
