  1. I've cleaned it after every time at the range but I looked at the rifling extra close instead of the "peek and twist" and just noticed a little build up (really tiny at the valley of the of the rifling) I let it sit overnight and it's still there. I'll try leaving a wet patch of CLP and see if that helps. I'll try the simple green on the lower next time
  2. What do you guys use to keep your babies clean? I got a little buid up in the rifling of my USP and have been soaking it in hoppes #9 and punching the bore but it's being damn stubborn. Any secret squirell stuff you guys use to make it sparkle?
  3. I would have blamed the judge. Like "YO, why'd you slam my door so hard!" lol Any more videos? Shits ridiculous
  4. Awesome looking design. Just a few questions, what are the ports tuned too, how will the box be placed (wall, sub up/port up) and will the single layer part on the baffle be braced?
  5. *in cheap petes voice* good lowd thatsalotta views. May the numbers keep rolling the way they are. Will there be cake at the party?
  6. I had 35 watt hids for my fogs and 55 watt for my high and low beams (that both work great) in my tahoe and even those got hot enough to separate the lens from the rest of the housing. Just my experience. If you can find them for your vehicle I'd suggest projector lens fog light housings that are suitable for hids
  7. Noticable difference in output upon initial power up? That amp looks like a BAMF
  8. I can't wait to put together a setup for the wifey. She said she wanted one. Have fun building man
  9. What does your electrical look like? Aq 3500 does 4k at 1ohm
  10. How long have you had the hids in your fogs? Mine got too hot and separated the lens from the housing (I have a 8k 35 watt kit for the fogs) Sorry for the thread jack
  11. ^this, I think the box he made was for a couple 12's and the air compressor and bag was a clear example
  12. I say yes. To really "separate" the subs airspace and smooth out the flow of air. It looks like it would have to be a small triangle though. Are you doing any more 45's? I did it for my tahoes box but couldn't tell you if its beneficial or not (sorry there)
  13. Reguardless that setup will be loud in that vehicle if done correctly (good electrical, well built box etc etc)
  14. Quick answer, yes. (but youll need more power or more cone area) How big though is questionable though (don't expect an Assman level hairtrick). Like everyones gonna say everyones gonna say a lot of factors are involved. But you may get a little hair movement with that setup
  15. The tercel wasn't big enough huh. This will be interesting.
  16. I have been sensing you are a Marine or are at least related in some way? Depending on exactly what you mean by what im going in for, as I said on my build thread Im doing the air track, but Im guessing you are meaning "why" Im doing it? Just in case you are, serving one's country I feel is something that gets into everyone's head at one time or another. Beyond that, im the type of person who takes on a challenge. That is the reason ive done track for several years and also why I decided to throw away going to a "party school" etc for one of the top engineering schools in the country that I knew was going to kick my butt every day. So, why not go for the top and be a leader? Beyond that, ive always had the dream of flying, and this route should get me there, at least for the start. Hopefully that fairly well gives an idea, something like this is a bit difficult to fully explain why to a full extent. But, its a big deal and I definitely won't be taking it lightly. Also thanks for the other kind words from everyone In other news, Im in indy at the hotel. I have to be ready at 0500 to head to the airport, so incase this is my last post, see you guys later. No, not questioning why you're joining SIR, just wondered what field you wanted to go to. It does what it's told..... Sir What do you want to fly? Fixed or rotary wing? Your senses are correct btw, been in almost 6 years
  17. Marines don't have a medical field. Navy does that for us. N8's just giving you grief, cause we all know riding a bike for pt is an ass kicker Lol
  18. With all due respect, what are you going in for? It is going to be an experience (good and bad. I met the love of my life because of the corps but also had to experience the repercusions of war also) but I tell you what there's no other feeling of pride like leading Marines. You'll learn a lot from them but once you "got it" (a little time in and knowledge) sheeeeit you can't help but feel all the hard work and sweat was well worth it. Good luck and have fun with it and learn "the game" to make light of some situations (even though mainly the enlisted will feel the pain). Plus daddy runs alway suck Sir
  19. *sign of the cross* aminus dominus Good luck SIR, have fun running your ass off SIR, don't let the Sgts and SSgts get you down SIR and oh yeah OORAH SIR BY YOUR LEAVE SIR AYE AYE SIR, SIR! That is all Sir Hey n8 *secret flat black handshake*
  20. Give this a read. It may help http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxes6.asp And be patient there's plenty of knowledge but if you push for help it my rub some people the wrong way
