anyone looking to buy an N64 and some games?

seriously lol - not sure why a full blown fiberglassed 2 door race car is being compared to a car like mine other than Ya, but its the right C4. 11.50's @ 120 on a 20 year old motor that still gets nods.... I'll take it. Besides, I don't make baller bank anymore. I don't live my life a quarter mile at a time. But in those 11 seconds or less nothing matters, I'm free. No wife, no kids, no mortgage.... FREE!!!!!!!! my car does mid 12's stock and is known to do very low 11's on headers and a small shot of NOS. I know a vette is a fullly fiberglassed body, 2 door race car but face it, most of them except some of the higher end models don't want none of the 4 door. Now only imagine if the IS-F was tunable...which it is not. but beside the point, who gives a fuck about a vette and what does that have to do with this post? smh. I agree, all I asked was who one. Cause as a corvette owner I can't tell one Lexus from another or a Toyota. It's just not my thing. My reference to corvettes had nothing to do with performance. You were the one who brought up how they get bitch slapped. I never said anything negative. Shit, I don't care if someone drives a 9 sec yugo or a 20 sec porsche you came in with your smart ass Toyota comment...and it's true, people like you think your the shit with your cool vette and then sometimes learn the hard way. And if you can't tell the difference between an ISF and a standard toyota you are a true smart ass. You know why i don't like vettes? sure they are fast but they are ugly as fuck. To each their own. Road and track tested a 2012 and they pulled a 12.9 outta the car. I don't believe their test crews are the best so I believe its a legit 12 sec bone stock car

gonna take a lot more than a 12:56 . My motor said LT4 b4 the work! at the end of the day though you'll always be able to load 4 plus a driver in those cars, I'm stuck with a passenger and a bag of groceries at best. I'd gladly give you back the extra 2 seconds somedays to actually be able to put my family in the car now watch someone with a 10 sec mustang post the can do both

I just wanna know. I'm using it for remote turn on, to feed a vdo volt gauge and maybe power up some led's worst case spark up a 369.2. So I'm not gonna be pulling more than 3-4 amps

you know its a 12 volt dc application at most 20 foot run. You can always check the American standards chart but I wanna see what shca says

I hear you man. It's all good. This is one of those things where there are many sides to the matter. from one standpoint, the consumer, it's understandable that they want the best value and lowest price they can get. I'm a consumer! I don't own a business but have managed in a multibillion dollar one and a mom and pop shop so I know how they both work. In this particular case I'm siding with the business owner and want to see his best interest protected. At the end of the day it's CJ's call as to how and if he implements this program. He knows how much capitol he is working with and what type of losses, if any, he is willing to accept. Anything in business is a gamble. I think one think everyone here can agree on is they don't want to see him fail!

I explained this in my reply earlier that no one is going to rent having to put up more than the rental fee. If I have the money to buy one than why would I not just buy it for $150, than sell it for the going rate of $100-125 and I don't have to worry about how long I have it for? or I can buy a used one for $100-125 use it than sell it for about what I paid for it. the point of renting is to not pay full price just imagine if Redbox charged you $15 to rent a DVD than gave you back the difference of rental fee and payment when you returned the DVD. seriously I hope it works out for you but being someone that has walked this path, i'm just saying. why are you quoting me? I was explaining why CJ said 100% full deposit in post #45 but I still agree with him Your line of thinking may be valid for some people but not all. There are plenty of people willing to do just that. Just cause I have the money to buy it out right means nothing. So because I can afford it means I wanna buy it, fuck no. I can recognize the fact I will never use it enough to justify the out right purchase and at the same time as a SMART consumer understand that a business has to protect itself. Yes, I said it, the average consumer is stupid. call me a dick but if you cant afford to rent a tool that cost under $200 with that full $200 as deposit to tune a luxury item, that's what car audio is, then maybe your priorities in life are just that fucked up. how bout that?! prioritize your life, and if you cant pay to play then don't play. Without bringing this thread completely off the rails, I hope CJ does figure it out in a matter that works for all but more importantly in a manner that PROTECTS HIM 1ST! I've been in the business world long enough to see a lot of small businesses go under trying to do right by their customers 1st and them 2nd... it doesn't work. and guess who's there to help that business owner when he's out on the street with his dick in the wind, NO ONE!

being billed full boat up front is the incentive to return on time and in good condition and for CJ good insurance that he doesn't lose money.
