Sundown zv4 15 rev2 d2 in a 4th order help?? I'm trying to figure out what sqft I should go with on the ported and sealed side and how many sqin's my port should be and what to tune it to for a good musical daily box?? I've been told to do a 3:1 1.75sealed and 5.25 on ported tuned to 40hz then I was told to go with 1.5sealed and 4.5ported tuned to 32hz by 2 different people?? The tuning seems completely different from each other and I would just like to get it right the first time around or at least close. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!

I will be buying a new instrument in about two weeks. I'm extremely excited to finally get one of my own. I've wanted one for years and really miss playing/performing. May post pictures of it once I get it.

Check this video out. Arguably one of the best players today. His name also happens to be....Steven Mead lmao If you watch it and see him making weird faces or funny sounds, he likes to have fun during his solos/concerts and make people laugh.

It will be a beautiful horn. I'm getting the silver version. I'm not a huge fan of the lacquered look (straight brass).

Started work at Lowe's a few days ago. Today was my first day on the sales floor. I'm working Inside Lawn and Garden/Seasonal. So far so good.

Why do computers still come with USB2.0 ports? Usb3.0 is backwards compatible, no?

Just finished my homework for the weekend. It was 38 pages....This is getting ridiculous. It seems like my prof is assigning more and more HW as the semester goes along. I'm still doing it all but jeez.

The University of Houston is thinking about hiring me to help develop some stuff for them and to be a kind of support for their College of Technology. I would get to stay where I'm at. They're thinking of starting at at least $20/hr if not more. I'm glad I ended up going to this meeting today. Also glad I treat everyone one with a base level of respect regardless if I know who they are or not. Really helped me today.

Thanks, i'm trying. If I can get my foot in the door with this University and actually help them get some big things done in these fields they're researching in, it good open up to a whole realm of great jobs. Also, the University of Houston is playing with the idea of inviting me to participate in their graduate programs. That would be nice. A graduate degree that's paid for by the school.

I'm actively trying to pass this class. I'm doing all assigned homework every night and going to office hours when I have questions. Hopefully I can make a good grade in it and be done with this degree. Unfortunately my work schedule is killing me. I want to ask for less hours or to get off earlier but I need these hours to pay for the class. Oh well, looks like i'll be pushing through until this class is over. Thankfully it's only 5 weeks.

I just finished up my homework for the night. 15 pages....it was 15 pages...took me 7 hours. Luckily i'm on-call tonight so I wasn't working my overnight shift at Taco Bell. I had time to sit here and work. This prof. assigns hours of HW every day (class is M-F). I bought a new 70 page spiral notebook for this class on Monday and i'm already through half of it with notes and homework...The overnight shifts just start eating away at you. My job isn't really mentally tasking or hard for that matter but standing there constantly pumping out orders for hours on end starts to beat you down. Like, I didn't know this Taco Bell was literally always busy.

I'm working 35-40 hours. Usually between 7pm and 4am. My manager told me that if I needed to cut back some hours for school she would completely understand. Luckily my MIC is very understanding and a gem to work for. I've definitely had supervisors that weren't that understanding before.

Got a job at Taco Bell. Making $9.25 an hour working graveyard. Wish I was doing something in my field that paid better but after it's all said and done I'm just grateful to have a paying job so I can pay for this last class. First time working fast food and I can say it's definitely a new experience for me. On another funny note they will have to order special gloves for me. My hands are too big for their XL gloves and keep on splitting them. Oops

Like I said, I am grateful that I have a job whatever it may be. I know there are a lot of people who can't find a job and have bills to pay and mouths to feed. I actually got this job relatively easy. But you're right, once I get that better paying job that interests me more I will be much more grateful for it. Unfortunately every paycheck I will receive this entire month will have to go straight to my class payment. The paycheck I received for my research will have to go to it too. It is what it is

WinISD Pro (alpha) or Beta? Im hoping on some advice from experienced users.
I used Pro the last few days. I modeled my built system, and the impedance plot and cone excursion seem to match the model well. To me, seems like the software fkn nailed it.
If using Pro, are there any nuances to watch for? Or is it a safer bet to stick with Beta?
TermPro was off by 7dB on the same design.

Definitely stick with the pro version. As a note, I wouldn't suggest using the SPL graph to try and see what the SPL of the enclosure will be like in your car or room. It will more than likely be very off. Use it more to get a feeling of what the response will be. Can also use the transfer magnitude graph for that. If modeling a ported box, I would suggest looking at the rear port air velocity. In general I would suggest reading their help page on how to properly/accurately enter in custom driver parameters. It can be a bit temperamental in that sense.
