  1. thats not really your card number is it? if so...... Well, I guess everyone else beat me to it :D :D :D
  2. even tho that may be 15kw amp, it is bad ass, but doubt it will touch the 160 mark. I dont think Meade will allow that :^ Maybe a 156-158, if they are useing the 6- 18"s
  3. Damn, 1980??? Thats oldschool.... I wish I had pics of my first personal install of 4 home audio 12"s, and a Jenson 300 watt amp (the oldschool blue one) Back in 92'
  4. We already had thanks giving dinner .... at 11:45am... Yeah, AM!!! I was like, wtf.... but guess that means we get to eat turkey, and everything else all day long
  5. I dont like many of them. Ive only competed in DbDrag, and Battle of the bass(which Iam guessing is non existant now) Here in Sac there is only like 1 IASCA comp a year, other than that, a shit load of db drags. But all and all, reason why I think they suck, is because they want you to spend all this money on equipment, money on registering, and all you get, if you win, is a plaque, or trophy(if they have any trophies available- from what I seen at some local db drags haha)... IASCA is funner to watch tho
  6. (voice of Homer- and drooling) MMmmmMMmmmmmmmm Deep fried turkey
  7. I got me a free turkey at work for selling warranties with products, but its just a 10lber ... But I cant complain, its free, and didnt have enuff money for anything to great Other than eatin turkey, cranberry sauce, stuffing, and the basics, I have some bondo I need to be sanding down :^
  8. I would love a bunch of 8s to play with. MCM Electronics makes a high xmax 8" sub for only $25, and its pretty bad ass
  9. damn suspense Iam sure it will be a minute before any pics of the caddy come up, since he also has other projects, but a drawing would be nice of whats to come :^
  10. P1GGY Speaks!!! Man, you need to hop on the forum a little more
  11. I will be posting a tutorial on a 1/4 wave box design for 2-12"s by tuesday, I will be pretty informative, with tons of pics
  12. I try to stay away from doing boxes long distance. Local, I do boxes all day. But, Iam starting a tline this weekend, well tonite I started cutting the wood, for a dual 12" tline CRX style for my s-10 blazer. Its going to be 38-40hz tuned, and I will be doing my first SMD tutorial, well, a how to- tline box. I will not go over true dimensions, only because there will be alot of haters, and certain people will not appreciate giving out certain dimensions. But I will go over how its built, theory, and pictures step by step... Iam hopeing to do tons of pics, and this thing should slam good. I will be useing 2- SS Exact 12" subwoofers, and a 250w mono block home plate amp for testing. BTW, unfortunatley, Iam useing 3/4" Particle Board haha.... But watch HOW I USE THE Particle Board, the 45s, braceing, ect. Iam hopeing to have this up by tuesday night. At the end I will end up selling the box, and subs for only about $400 . Or keep it (depending how loud it gets) :^ :^ :^ ;)
  13. I know if your doing Hard core spl, walls, ect, huge amounts of power is a good thing, but if you know how to make a power efficient box, and you are personally happy with it, who cares about 3500rms? I bet I could get 2- Btls 15s or 18s pounding hard at 900rms total power-Easily ofcourse I would order the higher BL, softer suspension, lower ohm-lighter , flat wire coil option for best efficiency
  14. out here in cali (like Iam sure elsewhere) people are being robbed in the parking lots at gun point right after buying the ps3's... thats fking crazy.... ebay priceing is from about $800- 3500... averages about 2200 each
  15. Well Emp, there is alot of variables. The specs from the speaker- Qts-Qms-Xmax actually helps. And ofcourse t-line design. I have only 1 time been upset with a tline, and it actually wasnt the tline, I just had a very -OUT- OF- SPEC- Very high QMS, and high Qts. It ended up being to punchy. Threw a low Q all across the board sub in it, and it was back to deep constant bass tones with accuracy.
  16. Ive never had a prob with a tline playing lower than its tunning point, except when useing a higher Qts driver. Low Qts drivers go lower than the tline tunning with easy, if built right... then again, this a Folded horn thread, not a tline thread. Tline is the same, yet different as a horn the line opens at a constant rate, from beggining to end of the line. Tline stays constant from beggining to end of the line.
  17. They sound great, but the only MTX 9500 I have ever personally installed was 2-12" 9500-44, and the mtx 81000 amp, in a 04' Vette . Both subs fireing right behind each head, and a big port tuned at 55hz.. Was insaneeee, and even tho it was tuned high, since the subs were so close, they picked up the lows really good... Only car ever that got my brain to jiggle in my skull... lol... But again, sure any sub tuned that high, that close will do the same
  18. from that one pic of the dog on the door mat, looking at the cam, it looks sharpei mix, like mine, see the resemblance?
  19. Wow... that tutorial on photos really worked... pretty easy Heres another picture, and oh yeah, price is only $90 each or $160 pr Again, these are brand new, not recones, or used. I got lucky, and got em from a hidden source :^ And I have about 20 for sale. I do not have pay pal, but will eventually, so if there are any locals, please come check them out, and I should have paypal by saturday for anyone else. Thanks
  20. These are brand new, built on the original Exact concept, with upgraded cone/surround... Great SQ woofers, for small-med sealed boxes, and small ported, tuned low, like low 30s -mid 20s This is my first time posting with Photobucket, lets see what happens. IMG_ IMG_
  21. nice job man BTW, is that brass knuckles in that one pic by the scissors?
