awsome, it sounds good to me as well, i could even get a box of picture frames so i can print each person out a little cert. of their db and frame it so the person has proof, exactly like how rad does his iasca events up here but it wouldnt be a sanctiond event ..and if i couldnt find a remote location to do it , example an hours drive at the most for most if not all interrested..my dad has 2 acres of land in the woods where i could have cars in the yard and not be over crowded..im liken this idea alot lol..

lol im not a stingy person so it would be very possible, i think i could make my money back off a tl within 3-4 little parking lot shows , being 10 people @ 15-20 bucks a pop wouldnt take long to cover the cost of the tl , then buy a set of bright eyes and so on and so on untill i can do head to head at the little meets and make even more once people learn about em $$$

cool, i plan on doing a crap load of stuff to my van when i get there, since ill be working at a heavy metal shop, ill be able to get my hands on all kinds of metals to build stuff with and my dad (whom ill be moveing in with untill i get my house down tehre) has a car lift and all kinds of tools for use in his back yard, so ill be painting my van as well after i get there and settle in....so come 3-6 months from now wont anyone reconise my funkin beater one bit..and i should be able to get a car besides my van so i can make my van a strick competition van instead of being work/competition van

well ive made my mind up today to move to crescent city where i grew up from pensacola where i live now, ill be moveing in about 2 weeks and starting a good paying job at a place called pdm corp that builds bridge gerters and metal structures.. i havent been there in ages so i dont have a clue as to what there is to do down there pertaining to car audio , jacksonville is only a hr away to the north and daytonA is only 45 mins to the south. so if anyone knows of anything happening down there it would be a great heads up so i wont be completly lost out in the woods of the nasty ass south

and i wouldnt recomend the 130 spent on the sony amp, save up some money a little at a time and buy a better amp that puts out real power, and that way you wont have to set the gains up so high and avoid the cliping of the signal wich is probaly whats blowing your subs.. for 250-300 you can get a kole audio, power acoustik, spl brand amp like the 3000 d which is 1800-2100 watts rms at 1ohm and ive seen em work great at .75 ohm decent amps for the money and not bad at all for the power to dollar ratio that they produce

Meade How do you solder?

and a good "cover up" for the melted jacket that looks proper instead of tape is heat shrink wraper, cut it about 1.5 inches long and move it away from the heat untill youre done and when done slide it up over the new connection and use a lighter to heat the "heat shrink" to cover the discolored/melted wire end...makes for a nice finished look :^ -
looks IMO = cvr>p3 whos louder IMO = p3>cvr which would i rather have 12 of in my van cvr or p3? dont care for the looks of the p3 so i would go with the cvr

Trade ins?
mrwigglezdj replied to a topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
well from what my dad told me a while back when he was a sales manager of a kia dealership, he said that the buyer trades in his/her car, and somehow or another the trade in value is added into the price of the car in the end so all you do is get away with a smaller down payment, but end up loosen your trade in car just so the dealer can clean it up and resell if for 3x's what they gave or send it to auction and still make a mint off of it....so trade in are good for people that cant get $1000 + down payment, or if you have a car thats completly shot and worthless but i might be wrong, i would try a google search on vechile trade in information or somethin to be lead completly in the rite direction :^ -
