  1. Is that a Turbo I hear spooling up???? I know what he is getting with back pay
  2. Something that is going to be durable and slip resistant.
  3. Have the word out to my buddy ken. He is going to get back to me tomorrow.
  4. I had a single 12" pioneer shallow in my truck. Sounded good and got loud for what it was. Alpine type R shallow 12's are supposed to have some rediculus excursion for a shallow mount sub. Might want to look into them.
  5. I have the cherry bomb on my 86 f150 302 and love the sound of it. MPG definitely decreased though. Can't beat the price of them also. Got mine for 25 bucks at Pep Boys.
  6. Only bad thing about going with a stock replacement head gasket after getting the heads milled is that the compression ratio is going to be higher due to less chamber CC volume. Probably wont make much of a difference but will be there. That is why if you mill your heads .001 or .002 of an inch you want to get a head gasket that is .001 or .002 thicker than stock. Have you checked out the radiator yet?
  7. Well I did the same thing on mine also. Still was overheating. So took the radiator out and took it to a radiator shop to have them sonic clean it. 20 minutes after I dropped it off I get a call back from them to just come pick it up since it was so compacted with sediment. Half of the radiator was completely clogged with stuff.
  8. Check your radiator also. Mine was completely packed (86 f150). Cause my engine to overheat. Replace the radiator and never overheated again.
  9. Funny thing is I used to live next to Pomona and can see this happening. Shady town.
  10. Congrats man. Also why does it have to be a boy to continue the audio hobby? Girls can be just as good as guys in the field also. Nothing hotter than a girl with a clean install and tells ya that she did it all herself.
  11. Nice score on the sub. Guy out here used to have 4 of them in his avalanche. Slammed on them for 3 years straight, and still stiff as hell, with it also being a single spider surprised the shit out of me.
  12. Yes, but they are in separate chambers so he can run one at a time. What phone did you get man?
  13. looks like they are different sized spiders. Think noob was talking about same size spiders glued onto a plastic spacer piece that is then glued onto the basket. Like what a sound stream xxx uses.
  14. No, but the split spiders is probably the reason why it's not easy to recone.
  15. The numbers are definitely where he wants it to be. The port is too close to the back of the car an is choking the output a lot. It's definitely loud, just not where he would like it to be. Since he is in extreme class, thinking of doing an MDF roof to help combat the flex a little better. I believe he is still thinking about walling off his ride with either 2 15's or 18's on 2 AB 750.1's. He isn't a member on here since it's slow on his phone for where he lives.
  16. This is one of the very few ricers that I would actually drive. It's showy, but not over the top (to me at least). Looks extremely clean my man. Love the gas filler re-location. Perfect spot for it to go.
  17. Old setup looks killer man. Can't wait to see what the new one will consist of. If you don't mind me asking, but where about are you?
  18. I think Skyhighcaraudio here on the forums is a dealer for them. Should hit him up with a PM
