I have had mine for a couple of years with NO issues. If you want a case for it they seem to offer affordable ones.

Already taken care of, added another small cell in back. I just talked to the guy and he said he actually called and said what he owned and someone named Brad or Brandon told him it would do fine because it was 1200 max amps.
I like my kinetiks and I know some who bought another brand based on a power chart that used to put out there and they ended up needing more batteries or bigger batteries..I do not see the chart out anymore though.
I always found it a better bang for the buck to go with group 31 sized batteries (especially for daily). Deka has 9A31's, Odyssey pc2150 or kinetik hc2400....
Having a stock alt means you will need more battery if your system will do the power you say it will. At some point your system will be drawing a good portion of power from the batteries because the alt cant put out 200++ amps. 1 Battery may work for a while but 2 will be better and then add a better alt. I would also invest in a agm automatic charger.
