    Must not be very reliable. My local shop told me his source just got in a huge order.

    If it is just the sticker that isn't bad. I have seen 4 year old black kinetiks with the stickers worn off with bubbles in them work fine.

    I have had my 1800 under the hood for 2 years and it has never gave me any problems. I would check the connections and the alternator.

    Already taken care of, added another small cell in back. I just talked to the guy and he said he actually called and said what he owned and someone named Brad or Brandon told him it would do fine because it was 1200 max amps.

    I like my kinetiks and I know some who bought another brand based on a power chart that used to put out there and they ended up needing more batteries or bigger batteries..I do not see the chart out anymore though.

    I would get a good street alt that does 250 amps and a good group 31 sized battery like a kinetik 2400 or an nsb 3100

    the metal cased multicell battcaps are burp ONLY batteries,also last I looked approach $1000 in cost or more.

    odyssey pc2150 is legal in streetmax and it is more powerful than what you listed

    I always found it a better bang for the buck to go with group 31 sized batteries (especially for daily). Deka has 9A31's, Odyssey pc2150 or kinetik hc2400....

    I asked metra about them and they told me shurikens were not to be used to start the vehicle.

    onlything i know of are smart power supplies people build into their systems for shows. Kinetik makes a couple, they require an AC source however.

    Having a stock alt means you will need more battery if your system will do the power you say it will. At some point your system will be drawing a good portion of power from the batteries because the alt cant put out 200++ amps. 1 Battery may work for a while but 2 will be better and then add a better alt. I would also invest in a agm automatic charger.

    4 kinetik 1800 would be cool or look into 2000's and check the prices

    I would go either kinetik, odyssey, deka or xs before I went with optima. Just my opinion.

    Even charged batteries can draw 80 amps? I thought after they charged the amount that they drew fell substantially.
