  1. Use 1/0 guage wire.. Not 4 guage. To complete the big 3 ... Find a bolt on the engine block then to chassis bolt.. Don't use use the alternator bolt.. Some earth grounding isn't that good..
  2. Yeah.. I love the toyota ae86 and there's forum you can visist to get help on trouble shooting problem.... Save it from the scrapyard..
  3. There alots of stuff to be done at the UPs warehouse that causes delay. This happen to me all the times.. As long it didn't got broken or damage...
  4. What terminals? My biggest problem is my lack of knowledge, not budget... Tell me what I need, specifically please, in terms a noob like me would understand... When you say terminals I assume you mean something like this. Stinger SHT301 Hpm Stereo Expert Battery Terminals I have looked into these, but my factory connections that connect to the battery have to slide over the posts, so how would I work that out? I assume just remove factory connections and tie them in?? I know it hard to explain about the big 3 upgrade because it too much to understand. You can take your positive wire out because it connected to your starter and get 4 guage wire to connected to the stinger posts new terminal.
  5. Yes find a better bolt on the engine block not the top engine head. You don't wantt to much resistance because it will give problem on your dimming. Get a better battery posts too....
  6. I wouldn't get a chip for it. Having a vehicle tune for cheap isn't the best thing for it. Now it gonna hurts the engine.... I would just go with air intake and exhaust for now..
  7. Well, I never wired anything other than power to my alternator. So are you saying just that wire running to the top of the motor "wrong spot" could have caused the dimming? Or how everything is wired at the battery clamp? Sorry, just having a hard time understanding what you are saying... The top wire on top the engine head look like it might not be good for grounding. Is connected to the chassis too. I assume you're trying complete the big 3. YOur positive wire isn't hook with the 0 guage would cause the light to dim for sure. Try hooking that up and see if the light doesn't dimm. THe last photo you posted for alternator would be good spot for the ground on it. FInd a bolt on the engine block..
  8. Because i told you that you connections isn't set right..
  9. Did do any upgrade under the bay?? Are all the connectivity tight and secure and have no resistance..
  10. Everyones say it look o.k but to me it isn't. I'm not hatin'... I kinda hard to see how battery post are connected with the clamp. Usually it suppose to stay flat than vertical.. That wire you put on the engine head wouldn't seem do anything for grounding. The last picture you should on the alternator wouldn't be good spot for you grounding. Find a bolt on the engine block to the chassis..
  11. Both battery are actually good but it really depend on what you like and how much you spend. I Have been using Kinetik for while and it o.k but it isn't the best because i had some issuse along the way. Power master seem to be good because i have check tons of reviews and peoples say it not that bad compare to Kinetik..
  12. I heard monster power cable isn't true AWG..
  13. Take way too long for fibgerglass to become dry in cool temperature.. Fiberglass dry well in warming climate..
  14. The Fi logo isn't real that hard to do.. You can used mdf board, carboard or whatever you like to use. Just art and crafts creativity.. The re auido XXX kinda hard to make it look real..
  15. I would do the big 3 first and see if anything have improve a bit.. CIvic don't neeed the big 4. The big 3 would just do fine and less hassle and work..
  16. The service mnanual will tell you exactly how your A/c work on your vehicle. I'm talking about haynes service manual.
  17. Would be nice if can make some DC decal stickers...
  18. I use wally-mart battery cable and work like champ.. Fix nicely and tight.. yeah!
