i got my craftsman 26 gallon, 1.6hp, 160psi air comp. at sears when it was on clearance. Got it for $199 when regular price was like $320 or something like that, was hesitant cuz i didnt know why it was on clearance but i cop'd it and i love it lol. you can run two Hifonics BXi2008D's which is like 800-900 watts per sub

the lower the ohms the more work the amp has to do. Your amp will make very little power at 8 ohms and im pretty sure it's not 8 ohms stable which will damage the amp. If your amp is stable at 2 ohms then run it at 2 ohms.

they bench their amps at 15v so yes they are over rated, usually by like 100-200 watts. So my 1200 watt brutus only puts out about 1000-1100 true watts depending on my voltage drop. But i dont see that as a negative since you get a lot for your money anyway. Are you planning on running 4 amps or just one to all 4 18's? Deppends on what amp you get and what 18's you are running.

i got my Kawasaki Dual air sander at pepboys for only $35 , im not expecting it to last forever but i dont use it all the time anyway, just for my fiber glassing projects. But wow does it make things easier!..the only thing that kills it are the sanding pads, like $5 for 4 sticky pads of whatever grit..and i haven't found a great selection of different size grits. The highest was like 220 and the lowest was like 80. But yea deff pick one up, or you can opt for the electric kinds.

Make a you're own straight edge and you wont ever mess up another cut. Get yourself some descent clamps..they dont have to be top dollar, but some that will last a while and grip well. When you measure make sure to use an arrow ">" to mark you're cut line instead of a dash "-". That way when you go to draw you're cut line you wont have to guess whether you should draw the line above the dash or below the dash, you just draw you're line through the arrow point. Measure twice, cut once. Dont rush yourself cuz thats how you make mistakes, now go try "enclosure building" again.

wow looks really good and clean, why didnt you curve the edges of the l7 cutout tho. You should put the sub in so you can see how it will look. Other than that great build...but GOT DAIMN you've got a lot of clamps lol

V-moda makes an ear bud specifically for bass heads like us, ive got a pair and they are the best ive ever heard. And they are only around $25 bucks now: Ive also got a pair of sony's mdr ($120) series headphones but they come nowhere near the V-Moda's in the bass and loudness factor, and they are comparable in the sq department.
