In all honesty there is no best. There is no better. as long as you are comparing product in the same category they are going to be real close to each other. you can plastidip it if you want it to look off. there are lots of paints made for plastic. you could even take it to a body shop and let them paint and prep them. it wouldnt be much for a few parts. if its a vinyl though you will need to dye it.

I know the ruger is. you have subcompact compact and fullsize. smallest to biggest. if you dont care to carry it for protection id look into a compact or a fullsize. It will be easier on your hands to shoot and more accurate as well in most cases if i was buying a pistol right now in 9mm id look into. glock springfield XD or the springfield M&P line. the m&P line have alot of great reviews and feel really good in my hands and have a great price.

theoretically doubling power or doubling cone will give you the same gains. However whne you are overpowering your woofer with that double the power I would believe it to be more beneficial to double the cone area instead.
