I did both. I wanted to keep the rattles and flex down as much as possible. I still have more to do when I finally finish my front doors. I'm not doing it for anything other than mass loading though.

I cant bring myself to do a toolbox. I think they look like shit and I dont want that look for this. Its on 24s and has some other things done too so its not just about the audio. The wall is 17 cubes net with 16.5 cubes of port per iirc. Its pretty much perfect for these or their replacements. I dont think I can get alot more efficiency out of it and I'm really happy with the way it sounds. Ive already had to pull a batt once. Its not that bad. Time consuming yes but overall doable. I built that factor into my designing when I was done. I can pull the bottom trim panel and then unhook the terminal and pull the batts out. The first one sucks the rest are cake. Im trying to maintain that clean look. Like it could have been factory. Thats my whole goal with nothing in the bed. well that and another 500 bucks in wire that Id have to add in.

Ive thought about the caps added to the batts but they are probably going to be due to get swapped. Even sititng on a charger. I'm going to have to pull them to check them this spring and if they are out might as well make it worthwhile. This will need to support 20k plus as well which is why i was thinkign 20 total.

Well someone and I have been talking and I'm getting ready to plan the next stage of my truck. Yes before its even completely finished. So as power goes up so does my reserve need. I really don't want to put the batteries in the bed. Part of my goal was to keep my truck stock appearing. Batteries in the bed require a cover and alot more wire. Just not worth it to me. Right now I'm toying with the idea of 14 xs 1200s. I believe that I'm going to have the room to do this at a minimum under my wall. with the room to possibly do 20 if needed. For those who forget what I'm working with...... the optimas are 10 inches long and change. Length: 10.06 in Width: 6.94 in Height: 7.88 in The XS are Length – 7.8 in Height – 6.69 in Width – 6.54 in So what say you. I'm fairly positive I can fit two rows and then one each off set under hte wall. Anyone have another idea to stay under the wall and give me a bigger reserve? And yes Im fairly positive I can mnake it fit. I fit 12000 watts a wall and 6 batteries in an extended cab This will be nothing.

ou durrr I was thinking the amp rating was for the power supply. its for the charge rating. ill have to look into this more when I get home
