    you'll hear them say thye work fine Most are naive. Think they are saving money and wouldnt know a 300 amp alternator from a hole in the side of their head. The mind is a powerful thing. Ever heard of the placebo effect? You can use it for this too. People so badly want to believe that their bargain basement back alley alternator is keeping up with a dc or a mechman or an ohio gen. Clamp tests dont lie though.

    Some of you guys need to stop and realize that you are going to have to pay for a quality product. Those cheaper alternatvies you are finding arent doing what they claim and since they dont expect anyone iwth the knowledge or ability to clamp them, they can get a way with it. Stick to the proven and clamped alternator manufacturers. Its cheaper to do it right the first time.

    I love the guys that say they arent clipping it but have no clue whats going on. You'd think clipping would be one of the hardest things to diagnose compared to oh say a suck ass box design.

    Heres another thing. If you had updated your entire profile and put in your location you might actually have someone close by that can help you. You seem to be in a little over your head and could probably use a hand from someone who knows whats going on. That tiny little bit of info might be able to save you a lot of headaches in the long run.

    its not a quad coil. They did that so you could have wiring options. the +-+- on side is the one voice coil. the same on the other side. you want to make it easier cover up one of the + and one of the - on each side. There you go. You made it way harder than it needed to be

    you send a check or mo and then you have to get a copy of your FFLs license and get it to the person you bought it from. then they ship it to your ffl and you do the transfer and pics there.
