oh saltwater is not that hard. its expensive to set up. there is a plethora of information out there that makes it easier. I had no knowledge of this when we first started doing it.

im not at that level although I do have the wall picked out. my house isnt baller enough though lol lets see tank stand canopy 1800 tank for sump 100 lighting 500x2 powerheads water movement 450 ish salt mix 70 bucks a bucket. I used an entire bucket setting this up ro unit for the water 180 rock $6 a lb x 175 1050 protein skimmer 400 sand 150 looking at 5200 right there and thats not even counitng the tanks we've done before or the fish inverts and coral we have had that have died or been traded in etc. Its alot of fun though and very peaceful after a long day. We got our own little corner of the ocean

The wife and I had an anniversary coming up and have been trying to think of something nice to do for the both of us. We have had saltwater aquariums for about four years now. always small ones and we had pretty much grown tired of them and what you could do with them. We decided for our anniversary we'd get a new tank. This is what we decided on its a 150gallon extra high. You dont even want to know how much money we have wrapped up in aquarium stuff. the tank stand and canopy alone were around 1800 the dimensions of this thing are 48x24dx30h. I have to get my entire arm in the tank to reach the bottom.
