  1. and we are paying to keep them alive. I'm all in favor of the death penalty. i'm also in favor of going out the same way you took someone out if you committed a murder etc. as you can tell my idea for this will never work lol
  2. optima recommends hooking up a known good batter to the one that needs charges and bringing it back that way. I've brought mine back a bunch as well.
  3. throw that scosche boom stick out the window it only reads up to liek 127 i think and its pure garbage.
  4. I see your point of view. I found that if I did enough during the interview to warrant that discussion the salary expectations are more often than not brought up. I work in a different field as well and no one really ever gets hired on a one and done interview. usually two.
  5. Id never ask any of that on a first interview. Maybe thats just me but Ive seen people screw themselves out of 100k a year positions by doing so. Granted this isnt a 100k a yr position
  6. the cost of a gig switch compared to a 100 base is asshole puckering. I'm curious what you are using it for. or why?
  7. most shops do not supply the tools. Id rather use my own anyways. DMM Drill phillips bits flat head screwdriver phillips screwdriver socket set. those are the basics to get you by. I'm sure i forgot some stuff. i have so much stuff now i need more tool boxes.
  8. it sounds like the additional amperage draw from the lights being turned on is what causes it. with your signal split to three amps it may be stretched thin enough that the minor fluctuation from turning the lights on and what not is enough to disrupt the signal for a split second.
  9. sorry was referring to the pop noise.
  10. I would try the illumination wire. Maybe put your turn ons for your amp on a relay?
  11. I always take a pen and pad with me with some prepared questions. Also ask if its ok if you take notes. It shows attentiveness and attention to detail. I suck at talking myself up so when I've had to interview I make sure I kill it.
  12. be polite be respectful and don't come off as a know it all. Dress nice but not necessarily suit and tie. It's better to be overdressed than underdressed. DO you have a portfolio of your work? May not hurt to take it along as well as any designs or anything you can bring to the table for that shop vehicle specific wiring is very tough to memorize for all the different cars out there. basic head unit wires are always the same color. that is easy to memorize. things not to ask. salary. discounts. breaks vacation etc. Things to ask average customer installation what does the average guy off the street come in for? how many installs on an average day. average work day. what goes on during the daily grind. alot of interviewing is developing a vibe with your interviewer. From there the conversation can ebb and flow as you feel it.
  13. ive got a kickass ups guy. He usually doesnt show up til 7 or so so im home. if its raining he puts it in a garbage bag and tapes it up.
  14. I agree. Its tough enough to get people to post in the right section as is. Too many subforums can also make it harder to browse the site.
  15. hit ya up. I'll be around the comp all day. Like everyday.

  16. that is sick. since this is set up for home theater you'll notice that most HT fires down. I love it this thing is bad ass. and I bet thats a looooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnngggggggggggggg port lol.

  18. Ive honeslty never been impressed with the l7s. They just don't do it for me. sound pretty good but they just seem to be lacking in overall output.
  19. did you manage to track down an extension for your mini usb? I left you a link in the air ride thread.
  20. for the price those vmodas are tough to beat. ITs amazing how many people are recommending something without hearing it. omg rockford makes ear bugs omg omg omg you have to get them
  21. alternators can be cheaply made with cheap parts. thats why that pos powerbastards alt is so much cheaper. You get what you pay for.
  22. its only old to those of us who have been hearing these jokes for years and didnt find out about subwoofers from youtube
  23. well your options are have someone remove it and get fucked up by it or get fucked up by it yourself. lol animal control may do it for free I dunno.
  24. either way check monoprice.com I'm willing to bet they have something that will make it work. either an adapter or what not hers a 25 footer mini usb to usb http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=103&cp_id=10303&cs_id=1030302&p_id=5450&seq=1&format=2
