    yeah the hundred of messed up ones are all operator error. Ive got one downstairs that was DOA. Had another that was good for about 2 weeks and then the entire right side stopped.

    well its not so much your net its your gross. remember DDs like being on the higher end of the scale for port area. think around the 16 sq in per range. For daily I dont think id go a whole lot more than that. maybe 17 at most. thats going to eat up an enormous amount of space especially if you try to tune low.

    Im not sure anything was supposed to be said yet but yes they are. i might ditch my dakota digital for them in the future. I wouldnt run a stinger if my life depended on it. Ive had some fail and seen even more.

    I wouldnt even attempt it. You'll be ruining two motors in the process of trying to frankenstein them. the SMD uses a much different technology.

    if you are tuned to 38 hz you should probably have it set around 33 tbh. playing way under tuning can be bad for your woofers health.

    Your attitude goes a long way to getting help. You ask the right questions and dont catch an attitude. That is a rarity. Its obvious you want to learn and aren't here just to find someone to help you. You want to be able to help yourself and others in the future. Now about that box Turn that sucker around put the port at the top and seal it off. You just built your first wall.

    Anyone interested in going to this? Its a benefit show live music all kinds of stuff. Its about 40 minutes from me and I'm highly considering hitting it up. It does list an split portion as well.     if you are a noob do you know how to test for function of each wire? if not do not attempt it without someone to at least help you when you get stuck.

    ive seen cases wehre dealerships are hard asses about warranties and what not and then you mention the moss magnuson act and shit changes. i took my malibu in a few times for warranty work and they didnt say shit about the multiple runs of 1/0.
