Right now they are infront of box, directly behind seat. I figure ill just make a top and bottom for my mdf battery box and screw it to enclosure. then bolt enclosure to floor. that way if they move its minimal.

Ok, im trying to remove my kinetik 1800 from cargo area and place under the car and make a battery rack. I would like to keep the spare tire where it is. Im having troubles with deciding where it would go. Im getting another 1800 so that will make two total batts. Im a welder so i dont have a problem with making the rack its just the placement really. I think it would be safer this way also and cleanup my install a little car is a 2000 blazer 4 door 4wd

Dude just take our advice! Dont mix match subs.

You should run 2 identical subwoofers. so either keep the rockford and get another or sell it and get two of the type R's. if your getting the type R's i would get a bigger amp in the 1200 watt range for example audioque 1200d.

I think it would work no problem. I know Dc Power made a special front casing for mine to work on my cavalier. Try it. old belt should work fine

I just got a xl on 2k and it handles it nicely but anything above say 2500-3000wrms i would go with a level 5 for daily. I like the XL even more then my mayhem and btl.

Its really hard to have a decent system with no headlight diming, even with recommended batts and alts/big3. Im going to get hids which will resolve the headlight dimming issue.

Might want to switch to a anl type fuseholder and fuses. I never came across fuses of that type in that size.

Ok kool.. the $800 was just my estimation.. i live in the Caribbean... and shipping costs and customs duty almost doubles the original price.. thats why i said $800.. And about the 3K.. i just figured to get the total you add the rated RMS for each amplifier.. is that incorrect? Oh i see give a couple companies a call excessive amerage,mechman,ect ur rf t10001is rated at 1k and i dont see ur mid amps being rated at 2k between both of them u may have a total of 1500-1800rms and the boss isnt got to get rated so u should be fine on roughly 1.5k or less with stock electrical add that xs power battery but i would def. look into getting a bigger alt between impedence rise and other factors u should fine The day i buy another excessive amperage is the day i roll over i my grave.
