45th Anniversary
sayhuh? replied to sayhuh?'s topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
You are probably correct. Why Ford cannot build something like this is beyond me. The new one is just ugly...rear end especially. I'm a Ford guy and would by the Maro before the new mustangs. 2004 and early Mustangs I like. -
I haven't liked the new style but the Iaccoca Mustang is just bad ass looking. http://www.ilegacy.com/ (hope it hasn't been posted, I searched but nothing came up.)

Forget building a new box-- something is wrong I need Help
sayhuh? replied to P4killer_'s topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
Go to the DC Power Inc section, get a hold of Robbie and ask him for the batt and an alt. he can get both. The batt alone won't do you any good. Big 3, bigger alt and a batt. 75% seems way to high. Theres a chart floating around here in the amplifier section. -

Heck I haven't even looked that far into it yet. I'm more curious what they may look like. I chose these because of the way the lights are sitting in the image. Heres another set. -

LoL. They're only 160. Cheap yes, but a quick fix for now. They have the fogs, blinkers in black as well. I'm thinking murdered. -
Most people usually say they hate Mac OS because all they have ever known is Windows. Give a Mac some time and you'll love the OS on them. But yes, Linux/Unix > all Microsoft needs to lose this DOS bullshit BTW

Let someone take a peak at this before wiring it right. I'm on my first mid shift and have been awake since yesterday morning at 630am and its now 230 am haha. I'm hurting a little and bored as you can see from my drawing. :01nocomment8so: Now I didn't list the coils on your subs accordingly. They are just listed to show you more in detail of how it should be. This requires you to pull your subs out and check and/or rewire them. With 2 dvc 1 ohm subs this will give you the correct 'impedance' (to make mr helpful happy) at the amp. The amp you are using doesn't matter how you wire into the amp...as long as its pos to pos and neg to neg from the box to the amp. Hope this helps and makes sense (and is right..i'm fucking tired) If someone agreees with me then check it and fix it or let us now its how you had it. The New Ride. :)
sayhuh? replied to Stephen's topic in Off Topic - Random, Misc posts - the forum "Junk Drawer"
Nice ride!! I almost got one of those instead of the Highlander. Some guy came and bought it cash. The dealership sold it to him and refunded my deposit..fucked up, huh? LoL It is such a smooth quiet ride. Now throw some Ds on that bitch!! -
Prefer a local sale. These are nothing special, but figured I'd give it a shot to see if they sell. I clean them up a little. $300 OBO? One tire has low tread. The others are still ok. The bolt pattern it was for was a 4x100, 4x114 =D They are a 8 bolt pattern. Unsure if this will 'clean' up. Tire depths--its all 4 tires. I'm in the DC area. Will trade for some car audio or other wheels. Thanks.

I'm sure you help him more than anyone. Heck you helped me too. Thx. BTW isn't Impedance express in ohms? (serious question)

1610 is a 1 ohm stable amp and if you wired it like in the link I posted for 1 ohm, it doesn't matter how you plug it into the amp. I would only guess if you aren't running pos to pos an neg to neg at the amp..unsure what it would do if you have something crossed up. Only other thing to do is use a dmm and the charts listed here to set your gain at 1 ohm. I believe that amp is 40 for the dmm setting. I'll let some of the more experienced guys help on this one. For starters, list you subs, how you have it fused, rca voltage from deck...anything you can think of that would help. Someone here will know what it is, I think/hope
-
with that link posted above, which way are your subs wired? how did you set your gains, etc etc.
-
For those of you who have them..sell me one if you cant figure out how to set it up. =D To the one asking about specs * 2 x 600-Watts RMS @ 4-Ohms * 2 x 1100-Watts RMS @ 2-Ohms * 2 x 1600-Watts RMS @ 1-Ohm * 1 x 2000-Watts Bridged Mono @ 4-Ohms * 1 x 3200-Watts Bridged Mono @ 2-Ohms <--I believe this is RMS as well, not peak * D-Class Design * Front mount controls * Balanced Line Inputs * 180 degree Phase Shift * 10X Frequency Multiplier Switches * Subsonic Filters * Full System Diagnostics with Pre-Clip / Hard Clip Indicators and a Parametric Bass EQ Circuit * Bass Boost * Master/Slave Multi-Amp Linking * Parametric Bass EQ Circuitry

http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_c...sp?Q=2&I=12 I dont believe it matters how you hook into the amp if its mono. You can use all 4 inputs or just two inputs and it comes out the same.
