Looking good with the new 8's but call me paranoid I would love Rockford to set you up with a matching grill for those! It would suck to give a demo and have a noob put their toe through the cone getting out of the Hoe! Maybe RTI could make something special for ya or I could see ya form some mesh for those bad boys!

Help... Please...
Mtgrooves replied to Playa Named Joe's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
I've seen guys use bolts and ring terminals to reduce their wire. Basically they just use a ring terminal on the end of the wire than took a bolt that would fit into the amp and put it through the ring terminal and than used a couple of nuts to hold them together. With that done they than bent the bolts so that they wouldn't touch and presto you problem is solved. -

you can put a dab of clear silicone to fix that hole in the surround -
what do you think about 6.5" speaker in an enclosure?
Mtgrooves replied to skittlesRgood's topic in Mid's and highs
In my experance in training from differnt lines most manufactures design their drivers to be free aired. Kicker used to give enclosure specs for their mids but recently I called and asked Focal about this because I was going to enclose their K2 speakers and they told me that this was not a good idea. So I guess I would just call and ask the manufacture if it were me, no sense in wasting time on it if it's not going to sound good. -

Hey man i would go with Focal Polyglass 5x7 and tweet combo or the JL C5 5x7 and tweet combo if you are set on keeping 5x7's. Off that Diamond amp the Focal's will blow your mind! :hairtrick:
