    Checked the fuses and they were fine, I figured out how to pull the cluster out but now I need help figuring out how to remove the spedo cable from the tranny...

    After I regained my buddys stuff and replaced his headunit on 2 rockford P2 15's in a prefab box it gave me a head ache lol. on a RF 500-1

    Go into device manager and see if the drive is listed, if it is right click on it and uninstall it and then reboot your PC.

    Got a 96 ford escort LX and when you turn the head lights on the dash lights do not come on for the spedo, temp and fuel. I never worked on one of these cars so how can I remove the dash panel and get to the cluster and replace the bulbs if the issue is the bulbs.

    What car is this and I would ground to the strut tower, or run a neg run from battery to amp. Seen you had a blazer? If you do I would ground right to the frame.

    Probably a bad ground because those idiots used a self tapper and not a nut and bolt. Take a better picture of where the ground is because from in that picture it can be anywhere. Kinda looks like it's on a very thin piece of metal.

      News Flash...no government shutdown tonight. Dang..I was looking forward to a weekend without being governed...just when I was getting used to the idea. I forget what movie it was from but I'm printing up some bumpers stickers for the 2012 election that say "None of the Above". If the USA was a publicly traded company the shareholders would have fired these jokers long ago.
