Whats wrong with flame wars, at least it makes it fun. You are more like a hall monitor than a moderator anyways, no one likes a hall monitor. And no one likes people that cant read and follow the rules either. And making smart ass comments towards the rules just puts a target on your back. Think b4 you type....

Got a set of LNIB Infiniti Kappa 572.1cf 5x7's up for grabs here. These are older models that actually had a butyl rubber surround as you can tell but they have never been installed in anything. Looking for $75 shipped in the lower 48 for these. Here is the old Crutchfield listing on these for more info. http://www.crutchfie...8-Speakers.html Payment disclaimer. I accept Paypal. I do not ship until payment has been received and has cleared my bank account after a transfer from paypal to my bank. This generally takes 1-3 days. The item/items for sale will be insured for sold value not including the shipping cost and a tracking number through UPS will be emailed/messaged to the buyer as soon as the item ships. Please message me for my Paypal ID so that there is not more than one buyer sending me payment for the items for sale at one time. Feel free to ask questions if needed, just don't be post dumping in my thread. Questions regarding items for sale only.

Woofer Mounting Specs
kandiman71874 replied to sundownz's topic in Sundown Audio - GREAT Amps/Subs! GREAT Customer Service!
Specs for the rest of the E series and SD V2's? -
Did you buy the amp from him through this forum? If so, he wasn't legal to sell here anyway with only having 26 posts. We put rules in place to try and help protect the general users. If you ignore the provisions those rules are put in place to enforce, that's not a problem that has to do with SMD in any way shape or form. That's all on you.

What is it about the rules that you people cant comprehend? NO DAMN VERSUS THREADS!!!!!! -
So you are asking about how to share music illegally on this site? Have you not read the rules?

This will also happen if something internal in the amp has gone afoul and is causing either major excessive current draw such as a dead short or fets stuck wide open that are about ready to blow. if you ever get an amp that starts popping all of the internal fuses, be very careful how many times you try and replace them. Once you may get lucky but usually come the 2nd or 3rd set you will let the magic smoke out of the amp and its either time for a repair if the amp is decent enough to try and repair or its time to throw it in the dumpster and look for a better amp as a replacement.

HO Alt no ground?
kandiman71874 replied to Amart88's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
So being a unibody car where the stock battery is in the trunk, would I benefit at all by running a run of 1/0 from a mounting bolt to the negitive battery terminal in trunk? Technically considering where your battery is located, thats part of your big 3 that you failed to do it sounds like. Do you have a ground going from the engine block to the battery in the rear? -
Largest alt available on a 2002 Stratus was a 120 amp and that was only on the version with the 2.7l v6 and the DOHC 2.4L. Assuming we're going with the norm here that your car needs a minimum if 30 amps to run while driving as long as you aren't driving at night and with the a/c or heat on, with that amp, your power source is already tapped out and you are now floating off of the battery power only while yer beating down the road full tilt. So, yeah, a decent size alt, a good battery and the usual electrical upgrades would be a good thing to have. Electrical overkill is never a bad thing when it comes to an alternator. It keeps it from having to work so hard to generate what is needed and will help extend its life. if you figure your max consumption will be around 200 amps, look for a 250-270 amp alt to handle your new electrical requirements. By the way, the other stratus models all have smaller alts then the one with the 2.7 . Like 25% smaller
