i have had seperate gmail and youtubes for a while now, use both every day, never had a problem. just log out of youtube and sign back in on your normal account, should fix it.

Lol i have seen this like 4 times in the past 3 days, and i tear up a little each time, a truely amazing person he is, and im sure hes going to go far.

just saw all these posts, under tuning w/ real power?..... is on 300 watts haha, ive pushed the sub before, so i know that im not playing at even 2/3 if what the suspension can move at, and i have yet to smell the sub getting warm or feel it getting warm, i cant be hurting it too much, but this 15" is just temp until the summer, also this is an extremely old box, like 7years, one of the first boxes i made, when i got the sub it was like 20 degrees outside, way too cold to make a box, i should have one built by the end of feb, or early march. its going in a 4th order. also, the way i see it, the signal voltage does matter, i see it as a 4v out means i can turn my gains lower, which is less work for the amp, in my mind. my old pioneer w/ 2v outs sounded like crap compared to my new pioneer w/ 4v outs, but maybe its the fact that my new one is alot higher end than my old one, i dont know. and as far as the other 15", its a blown MA audio sub, this box was built for them back in the day, i was too lazy to pull it out, so i just left it. and to the guy w/ a cherokee, man these things can rattle! i have like 5 layers of peal and seal on the hatch and the thing still rattles a bit. if things go to plan, this summer the jeep will see 2 SA-15s in a 6th order, with 3 layers of second skin on the entire cabin ontop of all of the peal and seal, so it should come out decently. Anyways, longpost is long.

Alright, well thats why im asking, I wanna get rid of the popping noise. They are all 4 ohm, and I have 2 4ohm 6x9s in the back, can they all be wired to 2 ohm? if you wire the bynines together they will be on a 2 ohm load, but will be mono, not stereo, if you care about that, and have you actually had a DMM on the tweeters? i need to know the actual ohm value before i tell you what crossover components to get.

Well, what you should really do is put SPL Grease on your voice coils.

~facepalm~ that is a crossover. what do you think a crossover is? a crossover network? most crossovers do nothing for the mid, its all -0db@3khz or -3db@25khz. the only difference between your "cap and wires" and a crossover network, is a box. and i could tell you what capacitor to get for the tweeter, just put a DMM on it and tell me the ohm load.

Yeah but c'mon guys, he has 2v outs. a line driver wouldn't hurt. Higher line voltage > higher gain.

rockford 1500, tuned to put out about 300 watts at 30 hz. what people dont understand is you can have the nicest system in the world, but if your signal isnt good, you're screwed, so im using ipod in and 4v outs, it REALLY make a difference, anyone who says it dosent matter that much is looney.

Just because you're tuned high, dosent mean you cant play lows. 1 15" Fi New X-Series driver in 4.1ft^3 at 43 hz. not too bad for 300 watts. crossed at eighty hz btw.

Im just wondering, do you guys even run your subs through design programs? i know some of you guys have 18"s as 30 hz which is good, but if you put the numbers down in design you play at like -5db@30 hz. Just a little curious if you guys even take the extra step to ACTUALLY design a box. not trying to thread jack or bash. Also, if you find the specs on the lvl 5 i would love to have them to put in a BBP file. qes, qts, qms, fs, vas, so forth : )

Have you tried facing your subs and port towards the hatch? i can almost gaurentee it would be louder.
