im an AA dealer. same company as Fi. I have never heard of a problem with how they are built. in fact, they have the best build quality i have ever seen. if you want two 12" AA mayhems i might let mine go. its smaller than you want but i cant tell you how many builds with two 15"s or even two 18"s that i was louder than with these same 12"s.

How hard would a DD9515h Laugh at 950 rms?
skittlesRgood replied to SlamminBeats's topic in Subwoofers / Enclosures
a more efficient speaker will get louder than a less efficient speaker, on the same amount of power, no matter how much that power is. they wont suck because you gave them less power. you will just be wasting their potential. BTW... nice sig lol -
why do i care about stranger's facebook status updates on a car audio forum? can I block that feature?
-
Oh come on... status updates are awesome... :/
In all seriousness, you can click the little "X" in the upper right corner to close this feature... which is what I'm doing right now.
-
well, i like reading audio related updates like it was before. now im reading shit in spanish and updates on someones family, etc, etc. i mean i dont care about half the things my own friends post on facebook lol, now i have to read everyone's updates? sure i could close it, but then this is a useless feature if its annoying enough that everyone closes it. i want it to be cool again.

Mod question
skittlesRgood replied to D-train-13k's topic in For Sale: Car audio related equipment only
cant you stick the camera in the port with the flash on and take a pic? even if the mods say your plan is ok, buyers might not show interest. what if you get a deal set up, take the box apart, then find out a surround has started to rip? just crawl in there and take pics until one turns out on target. -
I ordered a magazine for my lee enfield #4 mk1 from 'gun parts corp' and they sent me one for a #1 mk2 instead. when i called them they said they didnt have the correct part so they sent me that one, that doesnt fit. so fuck those guys lol. where is a good place to buy the correct magazine? i dont want to go through this again.

148.5 stock trunk
skittlesRgood replied to armykyle1's topic in Member Videos - Host 'em & Post 'em! System Vids / Off Topic
how is that average for a none walled trunk? because a lot of times the outlaw and sealed scores are 3db apart. so your 148 becomes a 145. i would bet you wont be over a 146. and im not saying that sucks. its just more accurate. how is it more accurate??? That statement makes no sense, both scores are on a TL. because science must comply to a standard. if one subwoofer company advertised efficiency from 1 foot away instead of 1 meter, like everyone else, that would be misleading and inaccurate wouldnt it? that was even stupider then your first statement. How an org meters has nothing to do with science and there is NO standard since you have multiple orgs that meter different ways. Just quit hatin cuz the kid posted up an outlaw score. I don't meter my set up sealed since it likes to break windshields, so my score isn't scientific or accurate I guess LOL ya, how many times has someone said to get a "legal" score in this thread alone? im saying the same shit everyone else has been saying on this forum for years. "legal" is the standard in which we compare. I never insulted the OP at all. I didnt hate. I was nice. we wee just talking. then you run in here being an ass hole. -

this is a psychology trick I heard that is supposed to work extremely well. decide some amount of money that would hurt you to lose. now write 6 checks for that amount and give them so someone you trust and wont lie to. now every week they check in with you and ask if you smoked that week. if you have, they cash a check if you didnt smoke, they rip up one check. simple as that.

advertising an outlaw score like that is just misleading. makes you think "hey thats a good score" then you see its outlaw and you think "oh.. no thats just average" -
Is this an acceptable voltage drop
skittlesRgood replied to carshateme's topic in Electrical-battery- Alternators- Wiring
call either company. they have a ton of alts that are not listed on their site. my car isnt listed on mechman or DCpower and I have an alt from each company that fits. -
Amazon.com up to 50% off indoor tools.Which router?
skittlesRgood replied to Real96SS's topic in TOOLS and TESTING Devices
get a router with suction! seriously. i can plug my vacuum up to my router and it eliminates almost all the dust. I cant believe how much shit flies through the air when I use a different router. plus my shop vac has an outlet on it that turn the vac on and off when i turn on and off the tool thats plugged into it. -

trying to move air with a pair of 350w 8"s is pretty pointless. -
steve and others who cut trunk area for battery box
skittlesRgood replied to uhoh_45's topic in Fabrication, Fiberglass, Etc
i almost did this once. really glad i didnt though. i was going to do the skeleton idea myself. make sure the batteries cant jump up when you hit a bump or if you get in an accident. if you compete, check the rules for your class. this may put you in an extreme class. it would have for me in meca.
