I was suprised the first time I got on a TL. 2 sealed P2's on a 450.2 RF amp did a 133.1! lol thenI put my 4 12's in on 4400 watts (rated power) msybe 3k true watts & I was so sure it was a 145 setup......141.9 but I had a huge box, new smaller box has made my rise way less & im making so much more power.

Payback is most definately a bitch in this case. Its pretty sad that she planned it all out & shit.

I used Knkoncepts klmx wire for the long runs bc I didnt need it to be flexible & it cost a bit less. I used the fleks wire for the run into the truck & from battery to battery. Its good wire, I really like it. Which ground are you asking about? the one under the hood?

I dont know what kind of setup you have but im pushing 4 12's with around 3200 watts of true power in my dime with a stock alt & I have 2 Stinger SP1700 batteries in my truck & I dont drop below 11.5 volts.

Im keeping an eye on this as I too need a HO alt for my 94 S-10. DC power tolr me xxx for a 300A alt for my truck **EDIT** You need to leave prices out of your posts... thanks

I have 2 PA Stax 4000/1D's strapped at a 2 ohm load. They had been working great for the last 7 months but this past thursday my subs got distorted as hell, after looking it over it appears 1 of them took a shit. when i take the jumpers out of that amp the subs make a faint whining sound, the amp starts to click (turn on relay is what it sounds like) & the amp starts to smell like its burning. I do not think I will be going back to PA after im done with these 2 amps.

2 sealed P1 10's on a kenwood 320/4, later changed to visonik 400/1! 2 sealed D2P2 10's on kenwood 320/4, fried the Vis. swapped the Kenwood for a RF 450.2 (133.1 dB) Upgraded all my wiring & built a ported box for teh P2's (136.8 dB) Sold it all & went to 4 D4 Soundstream RW-12's in a 4 cube box, sealed. 2 PA 4000/1 amps & 2 stinger 1700 batts. (141.9 dB) Built a 3 cube box, got louder then broke the whole box. Almost done building my new box, should be in tomorrow. Iv replaced my mids & highs a few times, rewired it all a bunch of times, added EQ's, line drivers, sold EQ. Yeah im addicted. I love teh BASS!!!!!!!

Im from Fredericksburg. I know 3 other people on here that are also in VA bc I compete with them. Im suprised to see how many people are from VA. We need to get together or something.

Idk if it was just my bedliner or what but on my box it looks like it got hot & stuck to the back of my seats. I dont think it adhered to my box very well.

When I was in high school this dude thought he had a super nasty system, 2 15" soundstreams in sealed boxes, 2 10" kicker comps in a sealed box & the factory 8 all in a probe. It sounded like hell. Kinda loud but it absolutely sounded horrible.

Damn, I put a new box in today & it was a bit louder than the last one (a lot louder actually) & I went to meet my mom & a family friend for dinner & when I got there my mom said she could hear me before she ever saw me & that everyone in the restaraunt was looking outside & when I passed by she heard "damn, thats loud" & so we were talking to the hot waitress we had & she said the exact same thing about the cilia bc she said they could hear me back in the kitchen or whatever. I didnt know any onf that stuff ^^^^^

Yeah, I was right about everything for a long time. I now realize I knew nothing & everyday I learn something I didnt know before. Nobody likes admitting they were wrong but its always the bigger thing to do. Iv learned to admit when im wrong, learn from my mistakes & do my best not to let them happen again down the road.

I dont think it would be from the box being too small. if its too small it wouldnt bottom out unless you had a ton of power on them. Its probably something like your amp not being set right. Are the leads stitched? I assume so but if not they could be hitting the cone & making them sound wierd.

What problems? bc I was looking into the DD earbuds just wasnt sure if they were worth it or not.

Im going through the same thing. my box is too big & my surrounds are buckling when they hit real hard on the low notes. So a smaller box is in the works. Poly fill killed the sound of my box completely. & it sounds like you have way too much in there. 1 pound?

thats 29.80 ft^3 which seems like a lot. is the trunk really that big? or maybe I epic failed on the size but I used exposports calc.
