Idk how an amp could not be musical and only spl oriented. The stetsom amps work fine but people fail to realize they are full range amplifiers and when you send 7k of a 1000 Hz tone to a subwoofer you can't expect it the sub to be fine lol.

^sdeyoung You do realize fi/aa makes the parts for SSA so to say the havoc looks like any of their woofers is false. It should be the SSAs look like the havoc, and the havoc isn't a new sub. It's been around for a while

Only thing Im going to say now is you can not blow anything from simply under powering it. The shop you went to probably didn't use an oscope to set your gain and you probably had distortion and clipping that is why everything sounded like shit Also what area do you live in? Like I've said before there is probably someone on here that can help you

If you have the proper space and build a good box the 4 15s should be louder. Ditch the idea of adding 10s, if you want more "higher" bass look into getting a good set of mid bass speakers. This might get locked because you kinda have a vs thread.
