    hmmm...i get what you're sayin about usin a BTL for it. i would do 1 first to see how it sounded. i want to build another ported box with interchangeable ports too. might just do that cuz i'd like to use all 4 subs i have, and i couldnt fit them in a t-line anyway. gonna sort out a couple things first then see where i stand. thanks for that input

    SPL2K...just from reading some topics you've posted on, you have a LOT of tidbit info that a lot of people wouldnt know. like...i knew a basic rule of thumb about the distance, but i had no idea it'd somewhat lower the tuning on the box. just think it's pretty cool. ok...carry on

    it woulda been nice to put a real topic title on here mojo's are nice...i've seen a 12" hit 147 db's in a somewhat temporary setup. ANY brand of sub will sound bad if not in the right enclosure. going ported will also be louder for you. just race him. if you win, yay for you. if he wins, yay for him. get back to work, redo some things, and come back at him if you want. x2 on the cars also. like trunk cars vs hatchbacks

    no not saying i'm gonna sell em...and not saying ima switch em out...just sayin i'm not gonna go buy 2 more just to have tons of subs layin around. and hell...it's hard to bash an MSRP price, especially if you havent heard em yet. 1 12" could sound better than all your lvl 5's put together they could be put together by magic! nah jk...but you get my drift.

    when you get to certain amounts of power...you can cut down on rattle...but not FULLY eliminate it. unless you drive an SPL car...which is another story. i dno about the resin thing...but if you get like...expanding foam or triple expanding foam you can spray it in places to help stop the rattling. like up in the bumper cover, or in the trunk lid itself. but being in a trunk...your lid will probably always rattle against the car itself. but maybe that will help
