  1. i have it as well. the person who mixed it is on this site. he lost his copy and asked me to upload it too lol. it was up for a while. probably a dead link now tho
  2. oh...he's gonna be set from now on methinks http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/amplifier/51933/golden-voiced-homeless-man-captivates-internet/
  3. U are lucky I like ur calculator .... lol hahaha that made me lol Ding ding ding we have ahhhhh winner ..... say wha? sundown?? now i'm intrigued
  4. definitely good but i wanted to slap the announcer in the mouth
  5. yeah looks good now. tho...i do imagine blue spokes, chrome inserts and chrome lip would also look nice
  6. put the sub the furthest away from the port opening inside the box as you can. it's good to give the woofer an environment to load in. and i never bother with 45's in my boxes. i've done it with and without and noticed no difference. i do 45 the port corners tho
  7. you are such a son of a bitch lol. i love watching your shotgun videos. i'm always like wtf. that one was in about 4-5 seconds. CRAZY!
  8. tone generator? then it'd have to be hooked up from the RCA inputs of the amp, yes? what about if the head unit clips? looks to me like a set o-scope that scopes a certain frequency (which is fine imo) then displays when it clips with an LED light. minus the fancy LCD screen and ability to monitor any frequency used (which is still fine imo). as long as it can tell when the amp is clipping accurately then that's all i'm concerned about. i'm not trying to see when my stuff is clipping at 5 or 10 hz...but daily frequencies which looks like this is about what this one is aimed for. i'm in for this. definitely curious about the price. i lol at the people who spend so much money on audio equipment and don't wanna spend money on something that costs less than one piece of their equipment to make sure it's set right to prevent the destruction of their equipment. not taking shots at anyone specific. most likely will be purchasing this regardless tho. looks to be a nice tool to have
  9. i don't know what the FUCK you just said...but i don't care cuz i'm swayin in my chair. 4 lokos...some beers, some shots, and some hot women. i'm done for the night haha. work in the morning and ima hate life. LONG LIVE 4 LOKO!! larga vida a cuatro loco!!
  10. isn't sagging pants out of style? -1 point he has the same hairline as me. +1 point sounds alright to me
  11. neat device for sure. first thing i thought of was the accuracy of it, especially since you always preach that the only way to tell if an amp is clipping is to use an o-scope and see the wave of the frequency. then i saw who you had working with you on it and put all doubts aside lol. i'm sure there will be no half-ass product put out with tony helping. not that there would be if he wasn't...but you know what i mean. i know it's the prototype, but how closely does this resemble the final product? as far as feature implementation. i have questions but i can wait till the final product
  12. *facepalm* http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&q=can+rabbits+and+cats+mate
  13. hahaha i've used it several times before and again one day maybe for myself...depending on enclosure design i go with lol. it's ok tho, keeps me busy and coding skills polished.
  14. i'm so jealous! i have 4:0...4 stockers that is been researching lately for my doors in the spring/summer. if i can figure it all out, i want 32:0. 4 sets in the front doors, 3 in the back doors, 1 in the pillars.
  15. good volume for the 15's. i had older BTL's in 4 cubes net and it got nice and low. i had less port area tho. it should still sound great musically
  16. does not *have* to be. that is a general rule of thumb people go by. some people say it's no good, but imo otherwise you'll see people have boxes with like 5 sq inches of port per foot. so if you know what you're doing, you can go with more or less, otherwise i'd recommend staying within that area. either way you have almost 15 sq inches of port per foot which is fine imo
  17. i was sober and almost broke up with my gf. i drink any day of the week like it's new years, so it doesn't really matter to me
  18. i'd put the subsonic about 5-10 hz below the tuning of the box
  19. look at this picture. if the port stayed 32" long, your actual port would be longer. you measure down the middle of the port giving you your effective port length. notice the physical port length is 10" in red. if you keep that 10" and bend the port, it increases the effective port length. so if your port is 32" long, and you bend it the same way you're going to be adding 5.5" of port length to the effective port length and i'd only change the port area to tune higher. if you're still going to tune around 30 hz then yeah i'd assume it'd still be pretty long and leave it the way you had it
  20. ah ok i gotcha. as far as the box, looks good. except you want the port length of the wood to add up to the 'physical port' length. so making it so the wood measures out to be 25.75" long, this will make your effective port length 32". 32" - 5.5" (for the port height) - .75" (for the thickness of the box wall/baffle) = 25.75". measure down the middle of the port and you get 32" if it were me tho, i'd change the port to 16" x 6", and make it anywhere from 15" - 20" long. i like to tune my boxes a little bit higher tho. sounds better for daily imo. plus gives you a little more volume for the subs
  21. you can go smaller. i had my nightshades in 4 cubes per 18. but i don't know how DD's would react in a box that small. you could cut down to 5 cubes to compensate for more port area
