damn those LED's are serious! i had some that were bright as hell, they were 1 watt bulbs. they said they're bad for your eyes to look at them, and those things are so much brighter EDIT: hmmm...read up on the 009's, and they're 1 watt bulbs too. still baller!

hahahaha i know exactly what you mean. a long time ago, i had to get an amp repaired before i knew a fraction of what i know now, so when i went back to get it the guy was tellin me this and that and how he replaced these and i had the same thoughts. like wtf did you just say to me? i'd love to learn about the more technical parts of speakers and amps and all that. i know a tiny bit, but i want more. i got a dvd type thing with TONS of info of amps and parts and how to repair them and such. i need to read up

like has been mentioned...i'd get a H/O alternator, and definitely upgrade the battery under the hood. as big as you can. perhaps add a second battery. x2. those speakers are rated at 2000 watts RMS, and if you dont know what you're doing, i'd be careful about putting 3kw to it. it can handle it, yes, but be careful. i'd build the box on the smaller side of things if you're going to give it more power. the xplod will explode ahem...sry http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...showtopic=13280 that link will show you how. basically the big 3 helps better supply your car/system with power x2. it'll be pricey having to get everything (batteries, alternator, possibly multiple runs of 1/0), but it takes power to make power. and power = $$$. just take your time and do it right and you'll be happy in the end
