If a vehicle has 2 alts each outputting 200A at idle, is total idle output 400A? If so, wouldn't that make a dual setup better than a stronger single alt?

well i'm no help for that, but that was the one downfall I knew of, which obviously you do too. anyways, I would agree 2 > 1, but cost of 2 alts, brackets, availability of running 2, or just run 1 easily, whatever you think is worth it I guess lol

THis is probably dumb, but I thought about it earlier today. Does deadener get old? Like lose effectiveness over time? Would it need to be replaced or added to after many years?

All I get from this is that db-r is Sundowns repair shop. So if a Sundown amp gets sent in to db-r, and the user says he tuned with a dd-1, it will not be warrantied. Sundown and db-r are working hard as they can to avoid warranty repairs and make as much money as they can on their customers. Sundown nuthuggers need to wake the fuck up.
