The AQ will work. The components you have are 80 rms per driver. If you have a mid and tweet on each channel through the crossover, they will be fine.

Reading>Carshateme I said "scope or dd-1". And so many people recommend it because its a little easier than an oscope, and it works. -

I have a JVC KD-AR960, but it needs a faceplate. Nice head unit, but the faceplates are a pain to find. you can have the damn thing for free just pay shipping, lol.

Did you really expect a new headunit to sound exactly the same by doing the settings the same? They are different, set it up accordingly. Put the sub level to max and then scope or dd-1 your deck and amp. Leave the EQ flat. -

If you haven't grounded the H/U chassis that might help but can't say for sure since i don't know how you currently have it hooked up.

Maybe bad voltage regulator or bad ground from alternator to chassis .. just a thought

The second sub is sold. Still got the amp. Its like new, hardly used and only run at 2 ohms. 320 shipped, can't beat that.
