    OK, here we go. A stock 4.6 ford internals can handle up to 500 HP. Not sure about the LS. But, the Mustang is historically lighter than the Camaro, so that is advantage Mustang. Think about an '80-'86 Fox body with a turbo, destroys any Camaro from the same time frame. Can't remember who, either DC Power or Mechman, had an old fox body they built up. I don't think the OP's talking about new cars, but even if he was, the 5.0 Mustang kills the new Camaro, even with the solid axle.

    What are you looking for? A sleeper? Or just a fast car easily modded? Mustang is the hands down best choice for the latter. And each model from '80 to present has it's own options. Also, what is the budget for this?

    Im working my first wall now and let me tell you , its a learning experience. Im happy I tried it, not happy the way its turning out. Learned a whole lot doing it. Your enclosure looks good. My dimensions and net volume are good, but getting the front baffle to sit and fit right is my biggest issue. It'll be loud, but not very pretty.

    Kinda off topic, but what ohm loads could you get using three dual1.4 subs?

    I got a BNIB 12 HCCA i'll do for 350 plus shipping. And from experience with them, HCCA's need alot of power, so if you get one make sure you get a beast amp and good electrical on the car.

    So 5-600 for subs and 200 for the amp, right? Don't know how you'll fit 15's in a Camaro. Two hardcore 12's would be better, unless you want a wall.

    Ok, how about what year is it, how loud do you want it, and what is your budget?

    Is the smell constant? Did you purchase the economy brand or the oem replacement? If everything is pretty new still, take the calipers off and reinstall them. Don't worry about glazed pads. Brakes are meant to be used, not babied.
