  1. Lol @ all the people saying you would have opened the door... You wouldn't see him until well after he passed you. I bet most of the people he passed didn't even see him at all. Insane person with insane skills and no fear of death.
  2. Damn $300 MAP? You get can get 10 Pyle 8" Blue Wave for that... There is a reason for that.
  3. WTF? He's talking about the Fi SSD... Since this is in the Fi section. I would put any more then 2k to a pair.
  4. Keep the power clean. Some subs or underrated, meaning you can put more then they are rated for to them. The enclosure can play a big part in power handling.
  5. If you just extended the port into the rear deck and kept it the same opening dimensions, you would lower the tuning. I read through it, and I don't think anyone answered that question.
  6. Of all the reviews I've seen, I believe the SA series would take more power then the Type Rs. I would think of the SAs to be more geared to SPL then SQ where as the Type Rs would retain a fair amount of SQ. Price is always something that comes into play when thinking of a setup for me. Between these two choices I would run the Type Rs. It'd be well over a $100 cheaper. Which leaves more money for other upgrades and misc. things to help further improve your stereo listening experience.
  7. No, you're a nuthugger. If you want 6 subs, and have 1500 rm to play with thats only 250 rms a peiece. Kickers lowest line of subs are rated about that and come in 15s. And would keep you at your budget. http://www.audiosavings.com/products/15-Inch-Car-Subwoofer/NEW-KICKER-10C15-15-COMP-CAR-SUBWOOFER-C15-4-OHM-C154/10C154.aspx
  8. SA would be louder if you have a proper enclosure, most likely. No way to tell for sure unless you try both.
  9. I'm tuned into this too. I wonder the same thing. I want to make a t-line but not sure how accurate the measurements are after break in. I.e. DD and AQ, they only break in for one hour, which i wouldn't consider broken in all the way.
  10. Lol @ Kranny Awesome stuff. Hopefully here in a little bit I'll get to go out and put it to use.
  11. I ordered a replacement for my alternator because my alternator went out. Customer service is awesome. They shipped it out one day late and included the Adjustable Voltage Module for free. To me that is awesome and shows they want to keep their costumers happy. I will hopefully be installing it here in an hour or so. I'll take a video when I'm all done. My stock alt would charge at about 14 without any loads.
  12. I don't think you'd want to run that at 1 ohm. That's alot omre power then they can handle. But as long as you keep the gain down you'll be ok .
  13. IUf you play to much below box tunning, your subs are basicaly free airing, which isn't what you want.
  14. You're 4 gauge will work fine. Your voltage at your amp will be higher at the amp if you use 1/0 gauge. I'm using 1/0 gauge on a Rockford T500, 735rms at 1 ohm but running it at 2 ohms. It never hurts to use bigger wires.
  15. Not that hard to click the link at the top of the screen... http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/discontinued/nightshade-18.html 11", this information is at the bottom of the page.
