    I've seen people run stock BLs off 2k rms, but I wouldn't really recomend it unless it was fully loaded.

    I looked for legit ratings. I went with Rockford Fosgate 1/0 when I chose my kit. Also, 100% OFC, also wanted flexible wire.

    I can gaurentee that ReX 8s will take a beating. DD has a couple of different 8s to choose from, MA has a few 8s, Kicker has some, Tang Band, and Sundown.     I got a Fi BL fully loaded and it is laughing at my 1300 rms comeing from my RF t1k. It gets really loud and low, they main diffence between the BL and BTL is power handleing, the BL I wouldn't put more then 2k rms on and the BTL i wouldn't put any less then 2.5k on it.

    I have 2 friends with Cougars and they both have 2 12s, they are in prefab boxes and not really sure what they did because they had a shop do it for them... They get loud as shizznit though, took the 2 12s and box out and put it in a Ford Escort, and it was like 70% quieter.

    Something might be wrong with your alt. I'm running a T-1000 and barley see a drop, maybe .5-.9 volts drop full tilt.
